Serious question for anybody here opposing gun ownership.

The problem in America is that there are so many guns already in the hands of bad guys that you have no choice but to own one yourself or else you're at a disadvantage.  It's doesn't have to be just a major disaster.  There is an almost certain chance that if someone is choosing to rob you that they already have a gun on them.

You supposedly own a gun and I'm assuming this is legal and of course I would hope you have a concealed weapons permit.

If this is the case then you'd know that if someone draws a gun out before you do..... statistically  its to late.  

This is one of the first lessons in a concealed weapons class.

So in this situation by the time I realize what's going on I've been shot dead in front of my family while they're still being raped.

As i said in my first post I ccw..so yes, it's legal.
I dont know WHERE on earth you got that it was the first lesson taught in the training that it's too late once somebody pulls a gun on you.
