thailand is great. it may be a pretty poor country but it has amazing beaches, scenery and a lot of history, great food and good people(on the whole). also very cheap. your money goes a long way there.

i've never been to hawaii. beaches look awesome. but everything looks very expensive there and very tourist trappy. probably full of loud mouth yanks too.

plus apparently there is a serious problem with aggressive beggars and bums brawling in the street.

food - both have shitty food.

women - neither hawaii or thai girls rank highly when we speak about beautiful women.

locals - both have locals who hate foreigners and tourists.

weather - both have shitty weather, no variety there.

isolation - both are isolated from the rest of the world. it's like living on the moon.

culture - both have shitty culture and lack the cultural variety of the civilized world, good luck watching live sports or live music events living in either place.

traffic - a mess.
