It's been pretty cold here lately.  I put a clear solo cup outside 3/4 full of bleach, and after 30 minutes it was a mostly solid chunky type slush.  Went to gym and forgot about it until I had to take the dog out later that night which was about 5 hours later.  Bleach was pretty much the same consistency.  It doesn't freeze solid.  It was only -12 feels like, not downtown Chicago wind ripping through buildings -20 or below as reported.  Bleach could not have been thrown on him unless the person was out with it for less than 20 minutes.

Actor Jussie Smollett on Tuesday dismissed any suggestion that he has been less than cooperative with police since the star of the Empire television drama reported he was attacked by two masked men in Chicago last month. Smollett's representatives issued a statement a day after police said the heavily redacted phone records he turned over to detectives this week were insufficient for a criminal investigation, the AP reports. "Jussie is the victim here, which has been stated by the Superintendent of Police," the statement says. "Jussie has voluntarily provided his phone records from within an hour of the attack and given multiple statements to police." The statement said Smollett had a good reason for turning over what police called a redacted file.


"Any redacted information was intended to protect the privacy of personal contacts or high-profile individuals not relevant to the attack," according to the statement. The statement is the latest in a back-and-forth between Smollett and police since he reported the attack took place on Jan. 29. Chicago PD spokesperson Anthony Guglielmi said Smollett turned over some but not all of the phone records that detectives asked him for. Police have made no arrests and said they have found no surveillance video that shows the attack. They released video of two people in the area at the time who they said were persons of interest. Police have collected video surveillance footage from cameras in the downtown area and have also extended their search to stores in the area in the hopes of gathering evidence on who might have purchased the rope.

This is not a quote, but apparently during the first police interview he said something to the affect of at least they didn't take my sandwich.

Honestly, I've given this some thought.  I mentioned how they need to pass a law regarding this type of shit where someone alleges a hate crime like this that is bogus, or people that perpetuate a lie like Chief Awol and call for harm to others almost starting a "virtual" race war needs to be charged with a hate crime themselves when they are proven liars or call for violence.
It needs to be Zero tolerance....no wealthy peeps or celebs can buy their way out. PERIOD!  They must by fined on a sliding scale so that it is financially crippling and isolates them from their peers, and they must serve time with no internet access, no t.v., and no radio.  They get 2 hours worth of monitored jailhouse phone time, food, clothing, toilet, hygiene items, shower, and a cell to stare at alone for 5 years minimum.  This shit would end after 1 "celebrity" was found guilty and sentenced.
