Received this message from a banned account.

"Would it be possible to get my account approved even on a temporay basis? I just wanted to send some kind words to Wes.Thanks in advance."

Don't know who it is because they didn't indicate the account name.  If they'd like to try again via the same method with the banned account name, the mods may honor the request.

My mistake.  Not a banned account.  A lurker who is free to sign up with a new account and we'll try to get Ron to make a speedy approval.  ;)

Thanks very much guys,I just wanted you all to realize that your support of me has been the shot in my arm that I needed, and the post above wasn`t meant to disrespect anyone here by any means.....it`s just a bitch on my emotions to read the PM`s that I`m receiving............... No BS I actually break down like a weak little bitch because of the kindness you guys have extended to me...............Tapewor m knows this........... that fucking guy is one outstanding human being as are the rest of you guys.

Got a few complications that came up but yesterday I took a serious blow which robbed me of the positivitey I had garnered.

I`m feeling better emotionally but the personal messages tear at my heart.

I feel like total fag saying all this but it`s honestly how I feel.

You guys are a bunch of nuts on this board but when shit gets serious and jokes get put aside, you are all quality human beings.

I knew that all the time anyway, but this chapter in my life has brought this fact to clarity.

Thanks for the thoughts, prayers, and kindness,,,,,it will never be forgotten.

I`m just about ready to go to war with this b itch and I`m pissed so I hope it packed a lunch with a dessert because it`s in for a long gruelling fight.

Thanks again guys.............much appreciated.

Now, you are making my eyes well up and it's not my allergies.

Thanks mac,Stark, rocket,Pet Shop and loco......good stuff that I need to hear to help me keep going.

Thanks fellas.......I don`t feel so all alone even though this is ONLY the internet.

At 64 years of age living way up here almost off the grid,I really don`t hang out with anybody though I have quite a ton of aqqaintances up here in the woods I am basically just with my wife  and she is a total wreck............doesn`t seem to want to face the reality of this with me yet....almost in denial sort of, or it hasn`t fully hit her yet.

So you guys and some friends on YT,my sisters back in Mass,.,my step daughter, and a few others have actually become my support system.

Been here since 2002 and feel like a part of a family even though we`re all crazy fucks!!

I hope I don`t come off as a guy just seeking sympathy because that`s not what I`m seeking,I told you guys about my condition initially because of the bond that we have here as a lot of us have been here forever for Christs sake.

I`m rambling now so thanks guys stay safe and stay well.

Everyone handles things in there own way. Your wife is by your side, doing the best she can.

"Ketone administration elicited anticancer effects in vitro and in vivo independent of glucose levels or calorie restriction"

My father-in-law has blood cancer. The prognosis is a slow death, essentially. 6 months ago I gave him a container of ketone supplements to try (pictured below- and bought off Amazon).

His checkup by his doctor 1 month ago showed his condition has improved and the doctor could not explain it. Coincidentally my father in law told me he  feels better than at any other point in the past 3 years. So there just might be something to this ketone stuff after all.

Dude, I'm 45 and I am thinking of cancer a lot, comes with that age I guess. Problem is whenever you read an article, surf the web all you see is cancer cancer cancer. You just get so hypersensitive that you have to watch yourself not to get paranoid (I had that a few years ago where I was convinced that I will get cancer).
In your example, dude, you have a excellent chance beating this, 65 is a good age, you are strong, you don't have HIV etc. What I read is that you caught it very early as well, we have come a LOOOOONG ass way when it comes to cancer and cancer treatment, meaning you have medication that doesn't make you feel like shit anymore. So heads up ol fella, go for it, THIS is the time to be the warrior that you are. Remember we are remembered for how we act in situations like that.
Thanks for the inspiring words Stark I appreciate it very much.

Hypertrophy:

Thank you for your post, and you have my deepest sympathies, Sir.

There’s understandably NOT a lot of research into metabolic therapies since no one/no company stands to prosper financially.

Having said that, I’ve researched the ketogenic diet a bit, and I’m happy to report factual data.

It’s been found that the Keto diet, in essence, metabolically “starves” glycolytic cancer cells (like glioblastoma, etc.). Cancer tissues like these thrive on glycogen as their primary fuel source. As such, it is no surprise that depriving the body of sources of glycogen will cut off a major fuel source to such cells.
When those cells can’t get the shit they need to survive, they WILL DIE!!!

I’m not exactly “current” with the latest research, but as of 2014, there were some VERY EDUCATED SOURCES speculating that a 5-9 day fast “could” purge the body of pre-cancer” cells.

If you, or anyone else, is interested, I will happily forward you the additional information I have.

Cancer is nothing short of a mother-fucker, and I wish you and everyone the best!!!

Regards,

Montague

Tons of us are out here thinking of you, Wes. If we all turned up you'd say, "Ok, I'm not hiring a thousand portajohns for you chicken breast eating fuckers! This ain't Brostock! Hey! Stop unloading those cases of tuna! And get that squat cage off my lawn! Now go on! Scram!"

Point being there's an army of people in your corner from all over the world and you better hope no one organizes a fleet of 747s to get us there.

Wes - not sure what you may or may not have been offered in the way of treatment options. There's some good research out there showing that a fast before chemo makes the chemo significantly more effective. Fasting in general seems to be a bit of a magic pill, but combined with standard treatment it looks as though it weakens the cancer cells somewhat so that the treatment works better. Have a read around - see what you think.

This seems a bit odd. Wouldn't the CT scan have shown the size of the tumor? Also, we only need one lung to survive. Even if the tumor involved one entire lung, it should be operable. I'm not a doctor or an expert on cancer, but if I were in your situation, I'd get a second opinion.

Wes I wish you the best and will pray for you.

Whatever you are going to do, do it fast.

I will also add years ago a fellow board member/friends wife had terminal cancer (fukkenshredded if anyone cares) and i recall they decided to try administering insulin along with chemo as cancer is thought to be highly dependant on sugar for survival. Theory being cancer cells are sensitive to insulin and insulin can then shuttle chemo to cancer etc. I think they found a doctor in mexico willing to help as american doctors wont do anything not deemed cool by the powers that be ( not even if it means giving a dying person an actual chance to survive) but anyway his wife fully recovered. You should look into this if you haven't already.

If I were you Wes I would decide if its 110% or nothing because if you are going to fight you cannot be on other peoples schedules. I would literally be liquidating my assets and preparing to go wherever my money will get me the best, fastest care possible. Beat down doors, push appointments, demand to be notified if other patients cancel you can be in on short notice etc.

I probably said nothing you dont already know but with life threatening situations Ive seen people get complacent and hearing "we caught it early" or whatever can sound great and all today but tomorrow is promised to no one my friend.

I wish you the best. Update often as you can, please.

And fwiw because of this thread i quit smoking. What a terrible habit i cant believe how awful cigarettes smell!

We cannot re-write the story which is our life but we can edit it. Do so by doing more.   Do not treat every day as though it were your last but rather your first.

With wonder.

With joy.

With love.

With kindness.

And start with yourself.  You are  a wonder my friend.  You are a joy to more than you know.  You are loved by many but self-love is  the first love.  Without it there can be nothing.  Kindness starts  with you, for you toward you.    Throughout the day you are surrounded by mirrors. People.  They will reflect well upon you if they are polished with a kind word or a smile.

I tell you all this because I have been dead, albeit only for three or so minutes.  I must say that I am disappointed that I saw nothing, heard nothing.  Remembered nothing of those three minutes.  I had to be told I had died.  For a believer in the Nazarene that was, to say the least, very annoying.

But then, years later I realized  that it mattered not what I was shown or not shown while dead but instead what I saw and heard when I awoke.

Family and friends.  Dogs!  Cats!  Sky and sea.  The world.  The miracle of this Earth, if you will.

I no longer have faith in any deity and that is MY  choice.  I would never belittle a genuine follower of the Nazarene but have zero problem with idiots like tbombz and Wiggs.  False profits is a term that suits them well.  I put no stock in religion for by the word "religion" I have witnessed the idiocy of man.   But what of "faith"?

Like love, the most important form of "faith" is having faith in oneself before ever placing such trust in someone else.   When you one day look into the exact same mirror that you have been looking into all your life and you see someone that looks like you but is somehow "different", somehow "changed"and you wonder why...Then you may wish to seek out the "who" behind the "why".

Some here may choose to belittle my words because they are born of not only who I am but also who I was.  I would hazard that the vast majority of them are libtards and/or Shizzo in his many dilapidated forms.   To them I say this:

FTN.

To you Wes, my young friend I say this:  In all ways and for always, be well dear friend.

good post sir

Interesting post.

I was shaken by having nothing during my first and only surgery, many moons ago.

My brother went through the same thing, only a couple of weeks ago.  Remarked how surprised he was by the complete and utter lack of consciousness / perception of time.

That being said, were I a disciple of deity based stuff, I would consider the "soul" per se to have not yet left the body (in that there was still a clearly probability of you being revived).  Therefore, I would not consider that be totally indicative of complete destruction of my beliefs.
