Seems like the classic "Vicious Cycle" has now been created.Each day one politician tries to "one up" the previous politician by passing extremes measures to battle the virus. The new extreme policy causes the public to believe the virus is getting worse. To appease the public the politician then passes yet another extreme measure......No one is reacting to what the virus is doing anymore.
And when this turns out to be a dud the politicians can claim victory as a result of their strategies.
