Haha - brilliant - and more convincing than #1

Reminds me of this - I'm sure you'll have seen it already, but just in case.  It's not a deepfake or anything, but the fact he green screened and lit this thing so well makes it really watchable (if you are a Star Trek GayLord like myself  ;D).  The fact he changed the color of his eyes and uniform in post-prod add another layer of cool... 8)

I hadn't seen it. He does a great job. Looks like he uses After Effects for the compositing. Check out the video directly below at 30 seconds where the reporter is on a city sidewalk. Or the Monk examples later on. It's amazing how much greenscreen is used all the time for regular ordinary non "special effects" scenes. Plus, Dennis James' channel does some great lighting/composites which you may have seen. His No Country For Old Men composite in the 2nd video.

Wow - you weren't kidding - I genuinely had no idea that so much was being used just for city location purposes and not SFX/fantasy stuff

I see the 'Sound Guy' thing is a bit of a meme - off to explore

GAB is still taking forever now, but once they are set up with more servers, more people will check it out and join.

Meanwhile, Parlor was removed by Apple and Android just as the app became number one. You can still get it, just they made it much harder.
