Damn, I was hoping his health would improve. Not surprised it didn't unfortunately. We've been friends on FB for a while. I used to find his little video rants humorous. RIP and condolences to his family.

That's a young Dexter Jackson, he was Lt-heavy that year. Edit, I see now, I think that's Ron Flowers, only did a few shows, but was in the magazines a little.

Amazing physique at his peak.

I enjoyed the short videos he uploaded to youtube in his car. He was basically trying to steer people away from bodybuilding. One thing that sticks in my mind is he repeatedly said nobody cares when you are walking around big.

RIP.

He was posting for quite a while about wanting a kidney transplant. One of his last FB posts...if I recall...was about him moving back up to NY state for the transplant. Hopefully it wasnt suicide due to his many health issues building up over time. Either way...he was a guy who marched to his own drum. Had interesting takes on bodybuilding. RIP man.

He moved from NY to Jacksonville. Then moved to S Florida (Lantana/WPB) when he was part owner in those two peptide companies down here. I used to catch workouts with him every couple of months since he was only 25 minutes away. He started having health issues and met a girl who took care of him. They got moved to Tampa and then to Atlanta where he and his wife Pam went through a divorce but remained best friends. He got engaged to his girlfriend and that was the last I saw him (in person). Then he moved from Atlanta, back to Jacksonville briefly to wrap up some things and sell his condo. He worked out until he fucked up both quads and then started training with his bousi (sp?) ball. He had a ton of knowledge and some great gym stories.
