Anybody know if he got vaccinated?
Hopefully you're next
Goodmorrow,With a heavy heart I bring news that bodybuilder Phil Hernon has passed away. Thoughts and prayers to his family and friends.
▫️
When he won Nats. Beat Titus in the HW class and he stormed off stage.Pose down included Dexter.RIP
This pic shits all over todays top "pros" !
Who was the black dude that hugged Phil as Craig walked off the stage? Seriously, I don’t know how Craig felt that he won that division.
"Where are the bodies..?"
Great shot. That's a young Dexter Jackson, he was Lt-heavy that year. Edit, I see now, I think that's Ron Flowers, only did a few shows, but was in the magazines a little.
Dude looks tier 1 in those pics
"There is not a lot of information online about Phil which seems that it is almost deliberate but what we do know is that he was born on March 31, 1966 somewhere off the east coast of the USA."https://www.bodybuildingfanatic.com/phil-hernon.html55 years old, apparently.
I had been following Phil heavily for years on FB and IG. He was going through a lot. Kidney failure for a long time and on dialysis for a few years now. Prior to that...he beat prostate cancer. He continued to train and looked great all through this. He kept a pretty positive outlook considering. Most guys would have broke under the circumstances. He was posting for quite a while about wanting a kidney transplant. One of his last FB posts...if I recall...was about him moving back up to NY state for the transplant. He had been in Jacksonville, Florida for the past many years. But his FB said Tampa recently. Its possible that he got the transplant and his body rejected it. Hopefully it wasnt suicide due to his many health issues building up over time. Either way...he was a guy who marched to his own drum. Had interesting takes on bodybuilding. RIP man.
