Once trained and the mechanical motion and fiber recruitment and CNS adaption has been achieved you really are not going to get any stronger without getting bigger fatter also yes absolutely as you get bigger you get stronger. You can argue how strong a little guy is but take that liottle guy who is strong at an exercvise he has adapted to and let him add 20lbs of bodyweight fat and he is absolutely going to be even stronger at it. Also you can argue a big guy doesnt lift much but let him get bigger fat and he will lift more. Size and strength are absolutely positively correlated. Training low reps will make you better at low reps as you will learn to recruit everything but once you have recruited everything you need to add muscle fat to get any stronger. Once technique is mastered more size fat is the only real way to get stronger. You want to get strong get big fat

Again this isn't about me or the amount of weight put on this is about the simple fact that as a person adds weight they get stronger. Call it a mix of muscle fat fluid whatever you add 20lbs of bodyweight you are going to be stronger from an absolute perspective. Now we can always argue relative strength which gets us back to the question of what is the precise definition of strength.

You do know I live on a small island off the Coast of North Carolina. We have a small Walmart that is it there are no sporting good stores. And I ordered actual Inzer and Slingshot sleeves designed for squats not dick sporting goods shit

At 42 YO - honestly - be real - do you sincerely believe in your mind you are capable of adding 15-20 lbs of real muscle tissue?   

WTFNG hell is wrong with you?  Sometimes its like you need a slap in the face with a few bricks to wake you up to anything resembling reality.   WO drugs, without eating in a way risking death balooning up to 250+, there is no plan, protocol, nothing to where you are going to gain 20 lbs of muscle or even 10 lbs of real muscle that will last past anything.

I was fat strong once in my mid thirties.   After dieting all the fat off, the bulk added little muscle.  It wasnt worth being a fat bastid for the little muscle gained.

My doing cardio daily (mountain biking or snowboarding) weight is about 205lbs. My comfortable weight lifting and eating moderately is 215lbs. My bulking bodybuilder get winded walking weight is 230lbs. So yes absolutely it is a 20lb+ swing. Its not just about gaining but also losing and maintaining. If I trained like you and ate normal I would be 205lbs. Training the way I like to train can put me as high as 230lbs. My cardio is nowhere near what it would be at 205lbs but from an absolute perspective I am stronger. Also 44 in a month

Yes, and what I have been trying to tell you for page upon page, is that getting to that perfect mix of strength and conditioning optimally is where many want to be.   Not a tiny tit cardio bunny, but not a fat strong powerlifter.   Some people have genetics that lend to gaining fat easily, others to being skinny.   Its different for each person.

That weight swing isn't muscle.

But you are correct from a very simple perspective.

Gaining "weight" will make you stronger.

That's why we have weight classes in all weight lifting sports.

There's a Dicks in Virginia Beach which is about 1 1/2 hours away....probably a lot quicker for you since you drive so fast. I did try to find one closer to you, but it looks like the only possibility in Kitty Hawk has shuttered their doors. Fishing, kiting and surfboard shops aren't likely to carry knee sleeves. Still think you'd be better off with wraps.

Just because a dream may not be attainable is no reason to quit chasing it I may not gain 20lbs but I could certainly lose it if I didn't keep eating and training. I enjoy being able to train at my age after so many setbacks called life. I can take up cardio when I really get broken down and old but I ain't dead yet I plan to lift and eat a bit little longer. I think a heavier weight is healthier and safer for lifting. We are all constantly wasting away and dying a little everyday have to keep up the good fight even if defeat is inevitable.
