Like they said, its a jacobs ladder. Its a fucking killer. You are using arms and legs on the thing. The faster you climb, the faster the rungs move.
I know people bag on crossfit but it wasn't until I switched from bodybuilding to that did I start to really learn the importance of the warm ups, mobility work, and cool downs.
This was a standard leg day :
5 - 10 mins bike
then start doing 5 - 10 reps on empty bar, 95, 135, 185, 225, 275....by that time you were "warmed up". How wrong we were.
My shoulder mobility is far far better than it ever was in bodybuilding. I actually was more injured with bodybuilding than crossfit.
