I'm also not lifting today.  I find I don't often need a day of literally nothing but today is one such day.  Might do some light cardio later.

I did squats today.  Heaviest “working” set 225.  Light weight by getbigger standards but I’m making good progress for August 6.

I went up to 85-lb dumbbells for my heaviest set, and got six reps.

That's not way off from my lifetime max - I have previous gotten 100's for six reps, and I believe I hit the 105's for 2-3 before.

I don't think I ever got the 110's. If I did...it was probably with help with the liftoff.

Went through some pretty hard times this past winter. Got through it by getting my ass in the gym every day for the last three plus months. Just buried myself in the gym.

Finally took time off and got away for the last few weeks. Spent some time in the Florida Keys. Just got back. First day back in the gym today after about 3 weeks.

First day I figured I'd do smaller muscle groups.  So arm day it was....
