What is the resolution setting on your monitor? I have mine set to 1024 x 768. Also, the pic you posted is warped at the top which leads me to believe you have a curved CRT monitor. I have a flat, LCD monitor.

The original picture in the magazine is only slightly bigger, at around 12 centimeters. The only way to know for sure would be to have the photo negative. Now, the photo negative is usually the same size as the actual pic, so we have around 11 centimeters anyway. That is a scale of 17. Multiply it by 1 even 1 centimeter and you get 17 centimeter in forearm lengh between the two, which is way, way too much to be explained exclusively with the argument that Dorian is bending his forearms forewards. You still have other things to account for:

 - The fact that you adjusted for width but not for height.

 - The fact that you didn't adjust for depth.

 - The fact that Dorian is torqued to the side, which makes him look thiner than he actually is.
