ND-Yes I was there. I attended the Mr. Olympia in 93-95-96-97-99, and took these pictures myself. Dorian has a trademark "THICKNESS" to him that has to be seen in person to be appreciated. He is equally thick from all angles. Flex Wheeler was nowhere close to Yates in '93 in Atlanta. Dorian was just too massive & hard.

A big reason that Yates won Over & Over is because he was W-I-D-E-R than everybody across the delts. Ronnies arms were so big, that they ended up making his delts look small. Coleman did improve on that as years went by, but even today, Cutlers delts make him WIDER than Coleman, just like Yates was WIDER than Ronnie. He makes Mike Francios look like a dot. Francois (who was also known for his quads), cannot compare to the legs of Yates.

the Yates quote is from 2005

and the quotes can be 20 years old they still hold true that at his best Dorian has outstanding balance & proportion

Owning him how ? exactly ? by what YOU think wins contests ? by what you think looks better ? there is specific criteria and it favors Dorian , you know balance & proportion , density , size , conditioning , NO matter what shot you post Dorian has an edge based on the criteria . your personal preference doesn't mean anything , the judging criteria does.

That is Flex its from the 1999 British Grand Prix , which Yates by the way promoted .
