Again how do you know thats the original? why would someone photoshop the whole backround red? the point is to enhance the pic not make it worse , again I bet this pic is the one that adjusted

You always seem to show how dumb you are day in and day out. It's not just the background idiot, it's the whole pic. Use your eyes, which you haven't been using at all in this thread. Which pic looks like the original and which looks photoshopped? People don't take "red" pics then change them to the "real" color. People take pics and "other" people photoshop them. Like this:

Idiot pay attention the red one's been posted for over a year now , this ' real ' one has just been posted recently what does that tell you? and again why would someone photoshop a pic red? that defeats the purpose , I know logic is a new thing to you but try it some time.

Ronnie 1999... Just incredible!
Not even in a pose you can see the hardness
and shape he was in.
If he was holding fat or water it would surely show
in the second pose.

I hope this helps ! and FYI Ronnie Coleman HIMSELF said his best Olympia ever was 1998 because his conditioning was ' spot on ' now couple that critique with the one I posted ant it becomes crystal clear he wasn't ' spot on '

"If you look at Dorian, he's full muscles; it's as if somebody throw slabs of muscles at him and they all fall in the right places. His details are impeccable. That back, even Ronnie's doesnt have that sort of details. Look at the chest, it's perfect. Triceps, the best ever. Greatest calves. You can see details on his back even on his lat spread, now that's something. Thighs, very dense. ROnnie has overwhelming mass, Dorian overwhelming muscularity."

Ah someone who gets it !! thats called DENSITY vs Volume it usually means one is holding water and sq fat and the other is exactly what the judges are looking for

Density - Muscle hardness, which is also related to muscu-lar definition. A bodybuilder can be well-defined and still have excess fat within each major muscle complex. But when he has muscle density, even this intramuscular fat has been eliminated. A combination of muscle mass and muscle density is highly prized among all competitive bodybuilders.

Dorian sure ain't pretty but definitely one of the most brutal Olympias ever. That back was and still is the standard. I have yet to see a bodybuilder match or better that thickness and "carved from granite" look of his back.

I don't have the energy to trade quotes with you because I can pull as many or more
that say different. I'll let the pics and video speak for themselves and let people decide.

Hulkster, I thought it was just 4 nuthuggers who see Dorian as superior. How could this be given all the random quotes I just found in all of about 30 seconds?  ::)

Ronnie Coleman's calves weren't too bad, unlike Dorian's which completely overpowered the rest of his body.

I hope you realise that pic is photoshopped. I will prove it later by posting the original.

stupid ? no ignorant yes and 99% of the people on this board alone are ignorant of how contests are judged and base everything solely on their personal preference that pool means Ronnie is a popular bodybuilding and he has man fans if you think this is some sort of proof you're right , you just met my expectations on what a majority of Coleman fans are  :)

You can lay out all the rules of judging and it is still going to be subjective.
They may agree that Yates is harder but that Coleman shows more definition, seperation
and striations. They may prefer Coleman's shape over Yates. They may say Coleman's
thighs are not in proportion to his calves and that Yates arms are not in proportion to his
torso. Just because you believe Yates meets that criteria better doesn't mean that someone
else is wrong because they see it a different way. I know you feel way more passionate about this than I
do and I am amazed at you and Hulkster's dedication to proving the other wrong.
As much as you feel you are right it comes down to the individuals subjective opinion
as who fits the judging criteria better.

No your logic is retarded and the medical community went on record saying steroids don't work too I guess they do know it all

anatomy and physiology are 2 different things. ;)

Quote
and lets see who is more competent to ascertain a bodybuilders level of overall conditioning a bodybuilding former editor and writer with 40+ years of experience in the sport who attended every single major bodybuilding contest and photoshops of all the guys in question live and in th flesh or a medical dr looking at pictures? and you think for a moment your logic is sound? lol

we've already been through this before. It's safe to assume that if Dorian looks better in person, then Ronnie does too. So we can make an informed decision based on pics and videos.

See I don't have to accept every opinion this monumentally stupid idea was all your own , you're the complete idiot who bitched about all or nothing and in the process what do you do? dismiss one and cling to the other that makes you stupid and a hypocrite

I used to accept all of Peter's quotes. However, you would pick and choose which quotes to believe. It was only fair that I be able to do the same. So don't act like I'm the one who originally dismissed certain quotes and clung to others. I'm just following your example. ;)

Sir NeoSeminole, symmetry as it applies to bodybuilding refers to the symmetrical distribution of muscle on a symmetrical frame. It has nothing to do with literal meaning of the word. The etiology of symmetry gets twisted when it comes to bodybuilding.

hey fagg*t, I was just following Dorian's definition of symmetry. If you have an issue with that, then I suggest you take it up with him.

Ok, and how exactly you being a personal trainer means that you know more about how bodybuilding competitions are judged? You may know more than I do about how muscles work, about biomechanics and how to better perform exercises, but your credential as personal trainer is substantia nihilis when it comes to being used as evidence that you know more about bodybuilding than I do. What you're doing is known in philosophy as appeal to authority, and it is something used by people who are losing an argument. Badly.

another loser who can't read. Show me the exact quote where I said that I know more about bodybuilding b/c I'm a personal trainer.
