Due to several medical expenses with my wife, even with insurance, I’m basically living paycheck to paycheck now. I don’t even have enough to pay a $10 copay at the dentist tomorrow (I get paid Thursday… actually Friday, but my bank makes the funds available a day early). This sucks, and I just wanted to vent.

Lmao! Is Bay black? Are you black? I believe every black member of Getbig should come forward right now.

So far I’ve only got:
Wiggs
Goodrum
Bigmikecox

The GBM part stands for Gay Black Male.  He looks like the dude that rapes all other dudes in prison.

There are others.  But you must do your own research.

Just because 2 arms looks better than 1 arm doesn't mean a 2nd arm is cosmetic it does have a functional purpose

Its cosmetic elective surgery.   You have no functional deficit.  Its all ego driven.   Thanks for trying

What part of Chronic do you no understand? It has torn 3 times major and twice minor and the tears are becoming more frequent as is an aching pain due to continued micro tears. If I don't get it repaired and continue training it is going to get worse and detach completely eventually. I am not going to stop training, so the other option is to get it repaired. Now if you get an injury and choose not to have it fixed as it continues to get worse that is your prerogative, I am getting mine fixed before it gets worse

Torn three times because you ego lift.

When I have been injured I rehabbed it....and made sure I did the things I needed to for that injury not to reoccur.  You seem to fail at even that.

You were told NOT to lift much after your hernia surgery and poo-poo'ed that advice.

I know what chronic is...way more than you do.  Mr. Bicep Tear from Squatting

The point is this guy who started this thread lost 25lbs and still isn't very lean. He doesn't need to put 25lbs back on to be big especially at 67 years old. 240 is also pretty big.

However, despite not being as big or as old or as fat as him I can relate to him and his desire to bulk regardless as similar things have been said about me. So, I do find it admirable in a way and support him

Talke up your vendetta with me elsewhere

It is outrageous that this is the case in the United States...Republicans believe that seriously sick people with no money just need to hurry up and die....

Lies. I’m republican and pay my employees healthcare and they have great coverage. Obamacare drove up prices even more.

Either way we are screwed. A 20% tariff on foreign imports won't make life any easier.

Bay looks to be doing great good for him. I would consider myself to be doing alright as well. However, success is not measured in bank accounts or houses or pools or bodybuilding shows. You don't want to be broke as that sucks but success is a family to share it with. I am happy with my wife and kids and excited to be starting a new chapter in my life.

You guys make fun of my trike but it is great it puts me at the same height as my son when we ride our bikes. He really enjoys it and we ride together almost everyday he is here that is success to me. There are a lot of really nice rails to trails greeenways around Raliegh that I am looking forward to riding with him.

Still waiting on your proof it is the "best thing" for knees and cardio as you claimed.

What could I possibly post that would meet your criteria for proof of "best thing" for knees and cardio????? Is it not a somewhat inherently subjective statement? What is your criteria for best thing?

Aww shucks

I guess that’s it then. We were all wrong about hanky. Look at this beautiful piece of humility, empathy and kindness. Not in any way contrived.

This bring a tear to my eye

Glad you are doing well.  When I retired I wondered how I could make ends meet? My retirement income is only 65% of what I was making. I have the same expenses. I cut down on spending and my house should be paid off in the worse case scenario in two years and at best one year. That should free up a ton of money.  I also got rid of all credit cards too. It's Amex or a debit card now. Both cars are good running cars but they are old and paid off.

On a side note it's amazing how so many people my age become rich when their parents die. They often get a paid off house that could be worth 500K plus.  Then I see friends my age buying incredible cars and lavish vacations.  My mother when she died gave me everything she had and that was $600 bucks.  My wife's mother left her 20K when she died. We didn't come from money.

LOL you’re complaining about what others have gotten, a pension you said pays you a 100k a year? Were you forced to retire? If not why would retire if you didn’t know how you could maintain your life?

The good news is you figured it out and it sounds like you’ve planned to leave your kids better off so they’re not posting on a bodybuilding board in 30 years that their parents didn’t leave them money for new cars and vacations.
