The Welrod pistol, used for assassinations during WWII and later. Another option is regular silenced pistol, and the rounds didn't have enough power to cycle the action.

thanks muchly for the reply I couldn't remember the name for the life of me. the fact there's a modern version is also news to me, Interesting stuff!

CHICAGO – In an unprecedented move, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield plans representing Connecticut, New York and Missouri have unilaterally declared it will no longer pay for anesthesia care if the surgery or procedure goes beyond an arbitrary time limit, regardless of how long the surgical procedure takes. The American Society of Anesthesiologists calls on Anthem to reverse this proposal immediately.

The reward for info on the hero is only 10,000 usd. I guess they are glad he's dead, and are not that motivated to solve the case    ;D

Geez.  ??? ??? ??? Basically, once the surgery goes past X time limit, the patient will be responsible.

A recent policy change by health insurer Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) has led to sharp criticism from the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA), who warn that the decision could jeopardize patient safety and increase financial strain on both patients and providers.

The proposed new policy will no longer reimburse anesthesia services for the complete duration of certain surgical procedures, opting instead for a partial coverage model, and the head of the ASA has called it "appalling" and "egregious," creating a precarious situation for patients undergoing surgery.

Anthem BCBS said plans representing Connecticut, New York, and Missouri have unilaterally declared they will no longer pay for anesthesia care if the surgery or procedure goes beyond an arbitrary time limit, regardless of how long the surgical procedure takes, reported the ASA, who has condemned the decision and called on Anthem to reverse this proposal immediately.

Insanely fucked up.  In unrelated news, I wonder if the BCBS CEO has checked the news lately  ;D

So it’s hard to get medical coverage for procedures unless you’re having surgery to transition?

Until the profit motive is taken out of health care nothing will change. CEO's like this guy can afford and will start employing security detail. Guess what? It won't come out of his 9.8 million dollar a year compensation it will be foisted upon their customers. Us.

Corporate accountability, like others surprised it doesn't happen more often appreciate thats harsh, but these guys have done their fair share of ruining lives, they use their government protected market positions and corporate balance sheets to crush small medium businesses each and every day and that's without what they do to their customers.

Now they are back peddling, saying the public was misinformed about this new policy, but are now not moving forward with it.
