When I was on the sauce many years ago and doing Mentzer's Heavy Duty, I actually did 2 reps for 395 pounds at my best. I did attempt 415 but couldn't get it back up. Never did quite reach the 400 pound mark. I trained very heavy when I was corrections officer because you need that kind of brute strength to get the job done. Also consider that I was solid 237 pounds at the time.
I don't lift that heavy anymore due to arthritis and back and neck problems. I now maintain moderate reps for pounds. I keep my bench at 225 and work more now on repetition rather than maxing out. I also incorporate a lot of machines rather than free weights. My training program is almost the same as Chick's.
And don't judge the pictures as to what I look like. I did that picture which no pump, no posing oil, or anything. My next pictures I'll do after a gym session so you'll see what I would look like onstage
Okay Vince, I see what coul be a problem with you. You say things but people might misinterpret what you are actually saying. So I will help (since you need it badly) to explain what you have wrote.
When I was on the sauce many years ago and doing Mentzer's Heavy Duty, I actually did 2 reps for 395 pounds at my best.
What you should have said and probably honestly forgot was. It was BBQ sauce you were talking about. And you forgot to put leg press 395 for 2 reps. I did attempt 415 but couldn't get it back up. Never did quite reach the 400 pound mark. I trained very heavy when I was corrections officer because you need that kind of brute strength to get the job done.
Now, you accidently put "trained very heavy" when it should say "was very heavy". Honest mistake. Oh and you forgot the word "blow" before "job". Another honest mistake. Also consider that I was solid 237 pounds at the time.
Opps another typo. "Solid" should have said "fat and rolly"I don't lift that heavy anymore due to arthritis and back and neck problems.
See now this makes it sound like you actually lifted heavy. When we all know just getting out of bed doesn't count for lifting heavy. If it did I would be the strongest man on earth. I now maintain moderate reps for pounds. I keep my bench at 225 and work more now on repetition rather than maxing out. I also incorporate a lot of machines rather than free weights. My training program is almost the same as Chick's.
Now, now comparing you to Chick makes it sound like yo actually lift weights and you have some muscle. I think you meant to say "you lifted like a chick". I mean with those breast and smooth body fat you could easily pass for an overweight gym newbie. And don't judge the pictures as to what I look like. I did that picture which no pump, no posing oil, or anything. My next pictures I'll do after a gym session so you'll see what I would look like onstage.
Now you really forgot allot stuff here. I'll help; no lifting, no dieting, no sense of reality, no meds, no color, no razor, no sense of fashion, no clue, no education and no brains. Hope that helps explain why you look so bad. Also, have you discovered something new. How will you pump up your fat to look better. And god tell us what kind of oil are you using. Vince you still are the Getbig comedian of choice.
