Again I find it shocking getbig thinks lifting heavy weights and bodybuilding are not the same thing. Its like dudes thinking BJJ, Sambo, Judo, Greco, Freesytle are all different things they are just different names and styles for the same fucking thing. Lifting heavy shit and getting big are two sides to the same fucking coin

You have mistakenly jumped to conclusions. Never suggested what you implied. Merely haven't heard you talk about getting on stage again in recent months.

Legs and hips cannot be used to complete the lift.  Please post further curl videos without baggy sweats to disguise this.

For me it is about the training and strength and size and power gains anyway I know I will get stronger as I am more motivated and following a training program with this

Good.  You are strong on this lift.  Very strong and I understand the reasoning behind the whole "wall" thing.  But as I have told you before, people here were happy for you when your entered that first contest and somehow you managed to deliberately turn that around by being an ass. 

I can understand being upset and wanting to be liked but being a jerk is not going to get that.    Wes is a good man.   So is IroNat and many, many others here.

Me?  I am a  dumb crippled old guy that needs his family to proofread for me.  Fortunately I have a sense of humor because my mother taught me that there is always someone worse off. 

Right now I'd say that someone is you, young man.  I fear that upon reading this or anything else that adjures you to behave you will continue to do as you desire rather than as you deserve.

I have to say goodnight now as tomorrow is a big hospital day for me and I am quite nervous about it.  No food or water after midnight so it is time for my medicines.  In the early morning I will read IroNat's thread on training because it inspires me.  I will read some of Wes' postings too and for the same reason. 

Try to be  an inspiration not another random instigation.  I am looking like an idiot right now.  Sorry guys.

It's not that hard

Cheat curl = most weight

Strict curl without the wall = least weight

Strict curl against the wall = somewhere in the middle

Almost no one does heavy "Strict curls without the wall" though. It's not a great exercise for training or gaining size and it's not really suitable as a competitive lift as it would be difficult to judge a clean/strict lift.

I assumed strict curl against the wall is hardest but thinking about it, it would give outward force. Stabilizing and supporting you. Now I've done both strictly, against a wall and just standing but never gone for max weight to know what the difference would be in both positions.
I'm guessing it would work similar to say leg extensions, if you did extensions with 100kg so 50 per side and then stood up and attached a 50kg weight to your ankle, lifted your leg and tried to extend it in the same manner,  I'm presuming it'd feel a whole lot heavier and maybe not possible...

Yes, stabilizing against the wall helps.

If you're trying to do 1 rep a max 'Strict curl without the wall' you'll eventually end up doing a cheat/drag curl if you can't get the weight up easily using "strict" form. You can never give the lift max effort as you'll inevitably end up cheating the closer you get to your limit. You sacrifice max effort for form to get a strict lift.

The wall allows you to stabilize, but also allows you to strict curl with max effort, just keep your back, butt, head on the wall and go all out on the lift. Remaining braced against the wall stops you cheating and you either make the lift or you don't.

Again it’s not my job to explain how a strict curl is harder than a cheat curl anyone of you could simply try it and find out  it instead let’s argue about something none of you apparently have tried for 20 pages and I can rep 155lbs that is not going to be a heavy press for me but regardless you will all claim  my lift isn’t perfect no matter what I do

They don’t have any contest all winter the last shows are in the fall and the first ones are in the spring also I have stated many times the shows I would be interested in are mid summer or later and it depends how my training is going at that time
