A cheat curl is it's own thing where you go heavier than usual, knowing you're deliberately going to be swinging your body to help force it up.
A standard standing curl your deliberately using enough weight to not have to swing your body, so it is stricter.
So to be as strict as possible standing freely you absolutely couldn't use the same weight as you could braced against a wall. But as someone else mentioned you could never judge a free standing curl and call it strict as you couldn't judge how much movement is allowed.
On a different note where has your post explaining your knee ops gone and why the trt for so long and from so young. You never answer that.
No one can not do a strict curl without a wall with any weight because no matter how little you curl or how straight you try and stand it’s still a cheat curl by definition. Again would I have to argue with you for 50 pages about what is a deadlift is or would we just go with the definition as defined by dozens of powerlifting organizations??? A strict curls means butt and back against a wall period. If you think it is easier try it you couldn’t be more wrong.
