If I remember correctly, Hankins claimed Tony was his groundskeeper. I could see it working out that he meets Tony through Em's work. Landscaping work is very popular with the rehab/ex con crowd. Tony dabbles in other things, Hankins dabbles in things. The show is worth a watch.
