Setting up the basement tomorrow for Yoke walks. I'm going to carry weights across my back with the ruck sack on, do lunges, shit like that. Is there a technique for turns? I imagine if the weight gets momentum, you could easily tweak a knee?
Go slow and under turn, momentum is a hell of a drug. If it does go too far, don't fight it too much, just slow down or stop, re-adjust your footing and start again. You're using a barbell right? Not too sure about the momentum on that but a real yoke has alot, might be cause the weights are hanging/swinging already.
I suggest starting super light and get the feel of it.
