I saw it in 5 in the morning this morning and he was twitching N shit, but wasn't dead yet. Really makes me want to think people on the internet are sometimes serious, and everyone needs to stop being a fucking dickhead.

In all honesty, his death doesn't impact 99% of us one bit. It's his own life and he died for his own demons. We all have things to deal with and we deal with it in our own way, whicn 99% of the time involves pushing through the demons and not giving up. He gave up. It's understandable that the opinions will be the opposite, because most of us have the opposite view of how to handle problems in life.

Regarding this situation, I have thought about it a lot over the last 24.
As most of you know on here know, I have bipolar depression and borderline personality disorder. That kid talked about how bb.com was like all he had etc etc. Look, as lame as it sounds, getbig.com is my outlet and one of the few joys I have. I have very very few friends in real life because I am hard to hang out with as I tend to change moods ultra quick. I don't leave my apartment much because I am prone to violence in public. So ya, its weak, but getbig is like a little community for me that I dont have irl.
I think about suicide a lot, but not in the manner of running out and doing it. For years I have struggled with voices at times that tell me to just go out and do it. I did the pill thing once also, not much fun having a 3 foot plastic tube shoved into your stomach through your mouth. Ya, I get fucked up, but offing myself is a selfish thing to do and I do anything in my power to beat that issue. And to do it on camera, man I just don't get that. But I do understand what that kid was going through, and I feel for his family. It's been tough on my family too, and I hate putting them through this shit.
The people who egged him on and especially the one who phoned him and told him to die homo, I hope karma meets them one day. No matter whether they are serious or not, when someone is talking about killing themself, take it seriously and don't be retarded and tell them to go for it.
In essence, I relate strongly to that kid who did that yesterday. I think what he did was shitty, but depression can be a huge struggle. And to people who say "snap out of it" or "its in your head"--fuck you. Anyways, I just wanted to vent about what happened, thats all.

Sadly my local area has the highest rate of suicide in youg men (under 25) in Europe.
So many have committed suicide in recent years i hav forgotten most of them

Yes it is hard but what this kid did was save everyone in his family and his friends further grief. You know it was hell on them too. Trying to do everything they could to cheer him up get him help maybe. I read the thread on BB.cum and they said he tried to kill himself 10 times or something but they caught him. Fuck that. While suicides, even those of the "famous" viewed sort, come and ago and soon dissipate from our minds altogether, I was quite a bit bothered on a personal level of those who were egging him on, encouraging him to do it. Perhaps they believed the guy was joking, or maybe even perhaps they actually wanted him to go through with it. I hope it was the former.
Back in my days in the Navy, I encountered a similar situation. We had a new transfer come in and he almost immediately had problems adjusting to shipboard life(came from a shore station). Quarrels with leadership, and in his frustration, would run roughshod over the junior guys. After our difficult deployment was over and we came back home, his wife and two young children had run out on him across the country to California. Left him. The workplace difficulties continued for him as well.
Then the random comments came such as......"I was driving to work and thought about wrapping my car around a tree." or...."I'm not going to put a safety harness on when doing antenna maintenance." We laughed. I laughed. I even remarked to some fellas that the guy was gonna lose it and kill a bunch of people, or himself. They agreed, and we laughed more.
Then it happened. While on Quarterdeck watch, he put his loaded duty weapon to his head and stated he was going to kill himself. In the middle of the day. Traffic cleared immediately, with this guy still holding the gun to his head. Fortunately, a near 300 pound petty officer came up behind him and slammed him to the ground, forcing the gun out of his hand. Very risky move, for both of them. No one was seriously hurt, aside from a few cuts and bruises.
I felt like absolute shit. I felt like such a terrible and horrible person, feeling was almost indescribable. Here was a guy that I had laughed with, drank with, went on port o' call with, and had laughed behind his back when he was going through such a hard time. I didn't tell any of my superiors about the fact he had a problem. I sank even lower when my Chief looked at me and said, "You are going to go accompany him to his locker so he can collect all his belongings and immediately depart the ship. Because you know him best, you were his friend." Damn, man. Our last 2 days ever seeing each other was in complete silence.
I hope that some of those that had egged him on learn something, or feel something at least. Thnx for reading.

Everyone has problems. I mean there are dudes working 16 hours a week in third world countries and this little drama queens addicted to pills decides to off himself due to minor emotional and drug problems. He should have dealt with it like so many of us do, and HE should have triumphed, as he's in a country of hope and opportunity. He's a little pussy and the world is better off without his weak ass.
Why would anyone kill himself over minor emotional problems? Think about it. Everyone thinks of suicide sometime, however fleetingly. But to take that step, in most instances, means severe mental issues. I wouldn't say it's an easy solution; I couldn't do it. You probably couldn't either, and wouldn't want to anyway, since you aren't as messed up.

Regarding this situation, I have thought about it a lot over the last 24.
As most of you know on here know, I have bipolar depression and borderline personality disorder. That kid talked about how bb.com was like all he had etc etc. Look, as lame as it sounds, getbig.com is my outlet and one of the few joys I have. I have very very few friends in real life because I am hard to hang out with as I tend to change moods ultra quick. I don't leave my apartment much because I am prone to violence in public. So ya, its weak, but getbig is like a little community for me that I dont have irl.
I think about suicide a lot, but not in the manner of running out and doing it. For years I have struggled with voices at times that tell me to just go out and do it. I did the pill thing once also, not much fun having a 3 foot plastic tube shoved into your stomach through your mouth. Ya, I get fucked up, but offing myself is a selfish thing to do and I do anything in my power to beat that issue. And to do it on camera, man I just don't get that. But I do understand what that kid was going through, and I feel for his family. It's been tough on my family too, and I hate putting them through this shit.
The people who egged him on and especially the one who phoned him and told him to die homo, I hope karma meets them one day. No matter whether they are serious or not, when someone is talking about killing themself, take it seriously and don't be retarded and tell them to go for it.
In essence, I relate strongly to that kid who did that yesterday. I think what he did was shitty, but depression can be a huge struggle. And to people who say "snap out of it" or "its in your head"--fuck you. Anyways, I just wanted to vent about what happened, thats all.

I read an article how he was complaining the "nobody did something". He should ask himself what he did wrong in the first place. I know it's a tough thing, but the parents and family shoving the resposibility for their kids death to some moderators of a message board is just absurd.
btw, psychologists say that there is no difference if you kill yourself on webcam or jump down a bridge or a house. Suicide committed in public aren't uncommon.

Its an interesting topic for sure...When is it free speech and when is it not...If I tell someone to go fuck themselves till they die, in real life or on the net, and they do but die, is this not the same thing? Or go jump in a lake or off a bridge etc...
End the end, you have to be responsible for your own actions...The guys who egged him on didn't realize who they were dealing with i'm almost sure of it...And these guys will have to live with the guilt for the rest of there lives...I'm just not sure that the guilt they will be feeling is completely warranted...

depression ruins lives,it gets ahold of all of us at some point imo,some people can cope better then others but its a shame that people take their own lives.no matter how bad things may seem now or how hopeless it will get better,it takes time.trust me,ive been there and the thought of killing myself flew through my head many years back when i was homeless,i lost my job and couldnt keep up and had no family to help me,i stuck it out though and the good lord showed me that its gonna get better and to hang tough,i did and today i have a beatiful wife and a healthy and handsome 2 year old son and 2 dogs all who love me very much.hang tough and youll get through anything life throws at you

thanks for the positive replies bull and alex,getbig can be a brutal website at times but i think overall that everyone here is good people,i was alittle hesitent about posting my last reply cause i know at times getbig can be alittle rough on guys showing a softer side,but if i can help one guy or girl alittle by what i wrote then its well worth getting torn apart by some members,i think alot of members here feel like this is a little community where we all have alot of similar qualities and interest,s,alot of us might not have anyone waiting for us to greet us when we get home from work or wherever and thats a empty feeling imo,getbig has been a great outlet for me and im sure many others when your having a not so great day,i always end up laughing my ass off from alot of these post.ive been through that and id rescue dogs from the streets and shelters and made them my family,when its all said and done love is love and it doesnt matter if it comes from a dog or person imo,it made me feel better and made me feel like somethings depending on me to eat and drink ect.have a great day everyone

not to be all soft,,,but----If you had any idea the impact you have on one person--me--on here,....As you probably know, I have ohhh some mental health issues. I think about suicide a lot, like at this very moment. I dont think of it on purpose, it just creeps up in my head due to bipolar depression. I have no desire to do it, my life is actually not that bad. It's just this fuckin chemical imbalance sucks. When I get pain in my chest or some area, I smile sometimes hoping I am having a heart attack or the end is near. But I live with the hope that tomorrow will be a better day. And the things you write 100% make me want to push past the depression and strive for more in life. ESPECIALLY your love for animals, I have massive respect for that. So ya, you do have an impact on someone out there, that being me. I will always look forward to your words on here.

i rember one day many many years ago i was working out at a gym in north jersey,i remember a member who looked alittle depressed and he reminded me of myself years ago,anyway i started bullshitten with him whenever i saw him in the gym doing cardio or when he finished training.he was a great guy and had tons of good qualities to offer those around him,one particuler day something told me to ask him in a very non chalont way,i probably spelled that word wrong but anyway,lol,he started opening up to me like you wouldnt believe,he told me the only reason he hasnt killed himself yet was cause i gave him some hope and encouragement,i was overwhelmed with all sorts of emotions,i said thanks for listening to me and for being brave and not takin the chicken way out,since we where in a gym i told him life is like a set of curls,you dont just quit in the middle of a set cause you feel alittle fatigue and pain,no,you keep going till you cant go no more,and in the end you grow bigger and better biceps.i told him that i needed a trainin partner,even though i like trainin alone,i just felt obligated to keep this cat alive.i felt like god had me on a mission and i would pray and read scripture asking god for the right words to say,ive never dealt with this scenario before,ive dealt with it years ago but it was on myself and not another person,the dude was young,21 or 22 at the time and was a very cool guy.one day he didnt show up to train so i flew right over his house and he answered the door crying,he said last night he almost swallowed a bunch of benzo,s and opiates but stopped because he said he kept remembering me telling him things were goin to get better,he slowly but surely got help and became more stable.his mom said he attempted a drug overdose 2 years prior to me meeting him but they saved him in time,he got better but alot of guys are goin through the same type of things as we speak,im not saying everyone who looks depressed is ready to kill themselves but it didnt cost me anything but alittle time to help this guy out,im not saying im a hero or anything and who knows maybe he wouldnt of killed himself anyway but id like to think i did save his life

i rember one day many many years ago i was working out at a gym in north jersey,i remember a member who looked alittle depressed and he reminded me of myself years ago,anyway i started bullshitten with him whenever i saw him in the gym doing cardio or when he finished training.he was a great guy and had tons of good qualities to offer those around him,one particuler day something told me to ask him in a very non chalont way,i probably spelled that word wrong but anyway,lol,he started opening up to me like you wouldnt believe,he told me the only reason he hasnt killed himself yet was cause i gave him some hope and encouragement,i was overwhelmed with all sorts of emotions,i said thanks for listening to me and for being brave and not takin the chicken way out,since we where in a gym i told him life is like a set of curls,you dont just quit in the middle of a set cause you feel alittle fatigue and pain,no,you keep going till you cant go no more,and in the end you grow bigger and better biceps.i told him that i needed a trainin partner,even though i like trainin alone,i just felt obligated to keep this cat alive.i felt like god had me on a mission and i would pray and read scripture asking god for the right words to say,ive never dealt with this scenario before,ive dealt with it years ago but it was on myself and not another person,the dude was young,21 or 22 at the time and was a very cool guy.one day he didnt show up to train so i flew right over his house and he answered the door crying,he said last night he almost swallowed a bunch of benzo,s and opiates but stopped because he said he kept remembering me telling him things were goin to get better,he slowly but surely got help and became more stable.his mom said he attempted a drug overdose 2 years prior to me meeting him but they saved him in time,he got better but alot of guys are goin through the same type of things as we speak,im not saying everyone who looks depressed is ready to kill themselves but it didnt cost me anything but alittle time to help this guy out,im not saying im a hero or anything and who knows maybe he wouldnt of killed himself anyway but id like to think i did save his life

not to be all soft,,,but----If you had any idea the impact you have on one person--me--on here,....As you probably know, I have ohhh some mental health issues. I think about suicide a lot, like at this very moment. I dont think of it on purpose, it just creeps up in my head due to bipolar depression. I have no desire to do it, my life is actually not that bad. It's just this fuckin chemical imbalance sucks. When I get pain in my chest or some area, I smile sometimes hoping I am having a heart attack or the end is near. But I live with the hope that tomorrow will be a better day. And the things you write 100% make me want to push past the depression and strive for more in life. ESPECIALLY your love for animals, I have massive respect for that. So ya, you do have an impact on someone out there, that being me. I will always look forward to your words on here.

a man crying doesnt show weakness imo if its over an emotional thing,i really wouldnt dig seeing a 250 lb bodybuilder crying cause he pinched his finger or something,thats just being a pu33y imo.relationships go alot farther and smoother when your partner sees you have a sensitive and caring side,beauty and looks get old real quick and showing empathy is very attractive to females,a good women,someone youd marry will appreciate those qualities cause they know youll most likely be a very good father and husband

I was on line here when the news had just broken out. I saw the vid of the cops breaking in, not sure how long that was after he had died but I cant help wondering if only someone had only posted here when it was all happening.... some of us could have really stepped in to help...l'm sure our board would have done better.

your right bull,i believe as harsh and cruel getbiggers can be at times toward one another i think we would have made a much better effort at contacting the authorities either the police,website mods or even someone that might have known him or his adress,mostly imo getbig is just abunch of people with big hearts who at times get carried away with this internet stuff but deep down are good people willing to lend a helping hand if needed.like i said though,mostly,im sure there are people here that are really not the nicest people around but thats anywhere ya go,work,the gym,the mall,supermarkets ect,there are always gonna be a rotten apple or 2 in everybatch.i enjoy this website and the people on these boards,no matter how down i am i can always come on here and get a great laugh,this site is #1 imo

im always willing to listen to one of my getbig brothers if they need to bullshit and are dealing with some hard times,id feel pretty bad if someone on here was asking me to help keep them positive in a very trying time in their life and i ignored that person and they took their own life,no matter how much muscle we got or how much ass you can kick everyone needs someone to talk to.in this life if you could find a couple true friends,not phony friends but people that will do practiclly anything in your time of need,you are truelly blessed.the type of friends that will go pick you up at 2 in the morning if your car broke down and your stranded,those are the type of friends that are priceless,to keep those type of friends you also have to be there for them in the same way

talk about bad timing,i havent been sick in 2 years or so and last night i catch some kind of stomach virus,i feel like i need to puke but nothings comin up,im sure some of yous no the feeling i mean,oh well,ill keep my head up and who knows,maybe ill feel better after i do my 2 hours cardio this morning.i figure if i do cardio ill probably puke all over the place and feel better,plus i dont want to ruin my routine of cardio everymorning on empty stomach,and god knows my stomach is empty bigtime
