BigBrian.......i have never competed in a show with "only 2 competitors" i have always come in second or third (with 5-7 guys in my class) my worst placing was 9th at the Npc Florida State show (National Qualifer) i don't think I'm the "second comming of Ronnie Coleman" nor do i suck like you have stated/i do pretty good/hold my own!
i love this sport/lifestyle more than anything and will continue to get better and better each show i enter

You have a very watery unconditioned frame. Your face looks bloated.You don't even look like you dieted very hard. You do suck. In all your shows you either get last place or very close to it. Yes and the muscle isn't really lost...as soon as you start adding in the protein, its like you your body just blows up...
I've never really quite made it to 21 days...Have done 11...Holy shit is it fucking intense...It's the weirdest thing when you don't revolve your life around food...Its like your mind taps into some other dimension...Warning though...Everyone around you will seem much different...Reality is their not but you just realize how much fucking retarded shit "they" talk about or do...And your smells become extreme...
The shit is no joke though...And it will change your life for real...Can't really explain it but it will...I would like to shoot for a 25 day fast after new years some time....Though it gives me massive aniexy just thinking about it...I hear after the 21st day of just water, the real magic happens...Really fucked up hallucinations and shit...And massive cleaning of your insides...

i love bodybuilding more than anything!/but I'm not so delusional to think im "going pro" or "the next big thing" lol.....i have fun/love what i do and have a loving and wonderful girl to share it with,i have never had it easy on GetBig from the original "Arvilla Roast Thread" to back in the Day "Hedgehog" moving any thread with my name on it off of the main board....this has all made me a better/ stronger person and bodybuilder,if it wasn't for GetBig and the "Albert Schmidt's/TruthHurts/BigBrian's" i would probaly still be 280 lbs and never had or will competed..now im bringing up my legs and shooting for National Qualification! (who woulda thunk?) it's all a great journey...and you can go as far as you dare to dream!

I just spent the last 2 years battling cancer and auto-immune disease (Sarcoidosis - the same shit that killed Bernie Mac). I've been through 3 life threatening surgeries within 5 months during that time and NEVER once asked for sympathy nor did I let it get me down. I fought and I came back and got my ass back on stage and hold my own, thank you very much. So I'm sorry if you don't think I'm "inspiring". I personally don't care. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, even if it wrong. ;)

The sad thing with Mike is, he is competing in the "Master's division" and still getting either dead last or close to it on every show. One thing that really pisses off the nover been /wanna bees here at get big is :
1. Having a typical guy or gal getting in contests and actually putting it on the line , etc
You and Mike are good examples of how NOT everyone can look decent on stage . You both have built decent physiques that are way beyond the avg Joe and Jane.
2. Suggest that a good contest level physique can be built with little or no drugs.
Why does this piss them off? It involves work and dedication as the main reasons for success.
It is far easier to blame pro genetics and drug cycles on their own lack of BB success.

They're just having fun, dude. When you're on this board a while you want to put a face to the name. And they get a kick out of competing in bodybuilding. Pictures come with the territory. Gives some spice to their life. It's not my thing. I like to wrestle with grown men (cue chaos) and get my bones broken. Gives me something to get out of bed in the morning.
I never understand why people give shit to others who are just doing their own thang and not hurting anybody. One guy even criticize them for not having kids. Hell, I wouldn't be surprise if those Arvilla losers aren't punching a 8-5 clock and watching Dancing with the Stars while eating fried chicken and mash potatoes. There's a script to follow here in the USA and they better get with the program!

OK, lets say everything you say is true. Every damn thing. So what? What's it to you? Are you being forced to finance his life style? Are Mike and Laura on the public dole? As far as I know they're paying their own way even though their lifestyle isn't presumably as affluent as yours. But I bet their car goes anywhere yours does. His watch tells him the time just as good as yours does. His bed is just as comfy (and soothingly warm) as yours is. Hell, I bet his roof and his walls protect him from the elements just as well as your mansion. And at a fraction of the monthly payments.

You are not holding anything. You look awful. You have no abs. Zero legs. Those guys have double the legs u have. U arent even fully dieted. You look puffy. You look like a guy who lost a lot of weight but doesnt have a lot of muscle and still has a bit of fat to lose. Why would u go on stage looking like that. 1. BrianB, go ahead and at least post a cell phone pic of you legs/abs, so we can see what YOU have going.
2. Mike A. knows his lower body is a weak pt and makes no excuses for that. Almost every BB has a weak pt.
He is a tall BB and his limbs will alwyas look leaner/longer than a shorter man.
3. Mike A. goes into actual contests with no excuses and never blames politics on not winning the show.
He does the best he can with what he has to work with and in my opinion puts a decent looking physique on stage.
If he posted that he should be going pro and be on the Olympia stage next yr, ok, crack on him then. BUT, he puts it out there as is, no extra hype or bullshit.
4. Despite what some here might think , NOT everyone can get on stage and look decent.
Mike may not be winning but he puts a hard, decent looking ,muscular physique on the contest stage.
A lot of wannabees don't want to hear/see that. It takes away any excuse they have for not getting on stage themselves :-\ :'(

It seems to really irk you that Mike isn't living the type of life that you unilaterally determined he should be living. And it seems to drive you nuts that Mike isn't as intelligent and self-aware as you are to realize how miserable he should be. After all, he hasn't won a national qualifier, only has one computer, doesn't have the six figure executive position, isn't sporting 30+ inch quads -- why Mike hasn't killed Laura and himself is a mystery to you.
But that's what I like about Mike. He keeps on going marching to his own drummer having a blast with his beautiful wife (who I bet is in far better shape than your young thing, assuming you have a girl) while you follow him around insisting people should ignore him.
