It may be the fact that (as far as Michael goes) that he has been involved (whether you wanna laugh or not) in bodybuilding for over 20 years, he personally knows and is aquainted with a lot of pro's (attached is a picture of Mike with Shawn Ray, from over 15 years ago), he's a personal trainer and he is working towards the PDI at freakin 42.
As far as mine, I dunno, maybe it's because of some of the same things (not the PDI). I don't plan on stopping at this "local show" CQ either. ;) I definitely have a plan and it is very personal and those who know me here (knny, stella, sarcasm, etc.) know what that plan is and why I have it (and I thank you all for your support :-*).

Also, don't kid yourself, you are a very attractive woman and you look fantastic for your age, but I am far from jealous of you.
As I posted on the girls board already, my competion plans this year include a US show, the IFBB Amateur Caribbean/Central American Championships, and the IFBB Amateur World Championships in Spain. Last year I won medals, and hope to do the same this year.
No flame, but I would really not be jealous of someone doing a local show, as I compete on the world level.
I would not be jealous of any aspects of Mike either, as we are both in pretty much the same boat. If anyone read my posts, they would know I've been in this game 15 years, attend 3/4 pro shows a year and own a gym.
I sent you a PM explaining why I felt this way prior to you posting this, and explaining that is was nothing personal. Again, I would like to reiterate it is nothing personal, despite your response.

I never even knew what the stars meant, for all of you that compete, nice job, I could never do it, love to lift, kinda like cardio, but could never do the diet, so I have respect for all of you, whether men or women, no matter what age that get on the stage.

I really don't eat allot at one time. My problem is I eat late at night. I am up till 2 or 3am so I am eating just about everytime I get up to take a piss. Just a bite here and there but they add up after 20 trips to the fridge.
Aslo, I agree no one should have competitor stars unless they have at least competed. WHy not givethem Pro stars to then, who know they may become pros someday.

I eat pound of pasta at one sitting. Half gallon of ice cream. Bag of oreos while I watch the tv or doing this. Then I swear I will never pig out again. A day or two later I am pigging out again.

It's about total calories, not time of day. When I first got in shape a decade ago, I had no appetite during the day and was hungry at night. I tried to do the "six meal a day" thing, but was still hungry at night, so finally I said "fucck it", and stopped fighting my body. I just counted total calories, and made sure I didn't go over my planned total for the day. If this meant I ate little or nothing until 6pm, then consumed 1400 calories between 6pm and bedtime, so be it. I did this for like 6 months or more, and guess what? I lost a ton of fat.
Eventually, I was able to change my eating patterns to eating 5 meals a day to support muscle growth, and have maintained that for years, but my early fat loss experience proves that no matter how many fancy nutritional theories you hear about, it really is about "calories in/calories out".

I don't think CQ is being jealous but to give competitor stars to someone BEFORE they have even competed seems out of order. I think Mayhem's system is more appropriate. You must have competed before and be qualified to compete in the Jr or National level.

As I told 240, enough was enough on personal attacks. He has agreed. Let it be at that. We started to congratulate Cheri on a decision to compete next year, and we got into star discussion.
Final result is no one gets starts until they have competed. More discussions on that will be on the Board Comments area. So until then, this is done. Enough with the personal comments. It can go way too far, for both sides!

It may be the fact that (as far as Michael goes) that he has been involved (whether you wanna laugh or not) in bodybuilding for over 20 years, he personally knows and is aquainted with a lot of pro's (attached is a picture of Mike with Shawn Ray, from over 15 years ago), he's a personal trainer and he is working towards the PDI at freakin 42.
As far as mine, I dunno, maybe it's because of some of the same things (not the PDI). I don't plan on stopping at this "local show" CQ either. ;) I definitely have a plan and it is very personal and those who know me here (knny, stella, sarcasm, etc.) know what that plan is and why I have it (and I thank you all for your support :-*).

I did not know that 240 had created Londonisburning.com but the first time I saw it, I was greatly impressed. I thought it was very sharp looking and stimulating to the CNS. I work with the mind and thus, I deeply enjoy anything that activates the brain. I thought it was a superb website and not only because I like Jack London. I do not know 240 at all as a person, in fact his criticism of Bob C got very annoying after a while (although I bet he considers that a success lol). Anyway, I believe he advertises his web design as an affordable alternative. Therefore, I find it ludacrius if anyone criticizes his design work especially if he is as affordable as advertised. If I have made some factual errors, I apologize in advance.

I was a former elementary school teacher, and I've been finding that if I can deliver a website that will appeal to the auditory and visual learners- and i'm still working on the kinesthetic learners through the use of clicks- I can keep more people on the site longer. Same way it was important to do that when teaching, as once you lose em, it's hard to get their attention back.

Cherri, don't let it get you down. I actually like Mike's attitude, he is right on front street taking everything thrown at him positive and negative. Most of us couldn't take 1/2 of the abuse that he gets but he keeps on smiling. Here is a guy with not the best genetics putting it all on the line, if you are non pro you have to give him credit.
Ofcourse MIke isn't 260lb, shredded, benches 600lbs and dead lifts 2000lbs like the rest of us but it ok!

Bast, not disrespecting your opinion but to many it is....mostly people that compete. Normally only the top people have 'teh stars'. Pros, top amateurs or experts. Here, Mayem, BB.com, Milos board etc. This is the way it has been since I have been on the boards [5+ years]. The main point of contention is that if people who have not even competed, let alone successfully have them, then they should be given to all competitors...which as we can see is dozens of people. Many of them who compete/d at top levels, such as Blinky. From Cheri's opinion, she probably wishes that she never got them as it only caused drama. From my opinion, I could have had the stars a long time ago if I wanted them as I have held a pro card in a natty fed, so it not a matter of that, it just a matter of being fair to all the competitors on the board.

Mike was my client last summer. I built that site and Cheri has run it for the last 9 months.
Contact any of my clients and they'll tell you the same thing. I am a stone cold professional. Ron knows. Wayne knows. Rhino and Vinny know. The 60+ site owners I've worked with in the last 4 months all know. I leak nothing. I am completely professional with all business partners.
I built that little page based upon info Mike & Cheri posted on the boards. Nothing there is new.

I've been prepping my whole life Beef, lmao. But actually I have been following Michael's prep outside of eating every 3 hours (not sure if I could handle that), but eating the same drab, boring, carbless, calorieless, tasteless, but full of protein food. Cardio every night with him (behave!) and training at the gym, side by side with him ... for the most part (sometimes he trains twice a day). I haven't got a scheduled "routein" yet, but I'm working on it.

I was looking at Fitness originally where I was on a gymastic team for several years when I was younger, but Michael and I were in a car accident 2 weeks ago and it not only did a number on my car ($4500 worth of damage) but it also wrecked my right shoulder (damn seatbelt didn't keep me from hitting the passenger side door) and back. Therefore, I will most likely be doing Figure. I am actually going to see an orthopedic doctor today and will see what he says.

Contact any of my clients and they'll tell you the same thing. I am a stone cold professional. Ron knows. Wayne knows. Rhino and Vinny know. The 60+ site owners I've worked with in the last 4 months all know. I leak nothing. I am completely professional with all business partners.
I built that little page based upon info Mike & Cheri posted on the boards. Nothing there is new.
Cheri Lane hasn't seen it- she just heard what people told her. It's not about kids, it's about her. And "trying to air dirty laundry" is not true. if I wanted to post the page, I would PM it to everyone and humiliate her. I won't do that. I just made it so Cheri would back off. Many of you read the thread that night. She posted morphed pics, insulted my family & business, & BEGGED me to make a comeback. FOUR times, I begged her for a truce. Her response? "Hit me with your best shot".
Many of you saw it. I'll repost my requests. I asked her over and over to stop. She would not. I don't know what else to do with her.
