I've gone to 245 but they weren't full reps and I was closely watched by a spotter.

I can get about 6 with 240 (a tad over 225), seated. I normally do triple drops with this - 240 x 6 + 185 x 8 + 135 x12 or so. I do 3 sets, before moving on to the next one.

I always liked drop sets for the psychological benefits. Doing more reps with higher weight makes me feel stronger, even though they're my first real sets.

Agree 100%. I do triple drops on almost all my compounds and compounds are the only things I do, apart from a teeny weeny bit of cable or machine work for the last exercise.

205 (standing though) Standing is more difficult unless you are making it a Chris Mason full body exercise.

hurt my shoulder wrestling in high school, I can do a ton of weight but I only lower the bar to eye level, if I go any lower my shoulder hurts for days, I've done 245 in the past, on a smith I can do alot more.

I was talking about behind the neck. I don't do barbell presses in the front, just dumbbell.

is this a serious question? 225 shoulder press is about as impossible as a 315lb bench for a serious lifter... impossible to believe that you can't do it! if you're a big dude and naturally strong you can hit well above that easily if you train for it..i hit 300 before I started my last cycle.
