Oddly enough I have lost minimal strength if any. I am sure as I progress I will become weaker though.

Today I worked out shoulders and legs;

Meal 1. 2 Scoops of whey, slice of whole wheat bread, 210 grams of white rice, two apples, a handful of raisins and a mandarin.
Meal 2. Postworkout shake, zero carb whey isolate
Meal 3. one onion and 3 whole eggs
Meal 4. 55 grams of roasted peanuts
Meal 5. 150 grams of tuna in water, one onion, 80 grams of kim chi
Meal 6 and final meal. 150 grams of tuna in water

I am dieting and will be for as long as it takes. Theoretically it doesn't matter when you eat but just how many calories are spread out over the day but what I try to do whilst dieting if get them all in before 18:00....I find this works well for me.
trapez....in my opinion you would be be better off moving the white rice to post workout, adding either 2 more eggs or 5 more egg whites to meal three, cut the amount of peanuts in half and throw in either a small piece of meat(preferably red meat) or can of tuna on number 4, ...last two meals look fine..except i dont know what kim chi is..        i would throw in some more veggies though. you could eat a stalk or two of broccoli right after your post workout meal... that would be ideal.

...just my opinion..

im not trying to sound like a know-it-all..  i am pretty knowledgeable on nutrition; at least enough so to understand how to formulate a diet for my own body type based on how i see it react to certain foods. for myself....     carbs spell disaster.  years of overeating on simple carbs and processed sugars have made my body really fucked up and i have high levels of in-circulation insulin even on zero carbs..     and on the opposite end of that spectrum, i have never had a problem with weight gain from red meat or whole eggs..so i think going high fat low carb is the best for my self.






just saw your latest post...   i have zero fats besides the WHOLE EGGS and RED MEAT(well, also in tuna and chicken..but theres not a lot of fat in those).   one egg has 50 cals worth of fat..and i put down a shitload of eggs.       and as far as the veggies...i think your partly mistaken by thinkking i am getting few calories from them...i am running on full glycogen stores pretty much all day..as i eat a fucking shitload of broccoli/green beans at night.  one serving of green beans (frozen whole green beans) is listed as 30 calories. i easily eat at least 10 servings each night. AT LEAST.     


Sorry - i read your post to read very minimal fats.

If you are going to use that to diet, a keto diet works for many.
To bulk?  I don't know.  I think Evan C used it for a time, but he's a world class athlete with 100 pounds more muscle than any of us, and he uses. 

Can an under-200 pound intermediate natural bodybuilder successfully add 20+ pounds of muscle using a keto diet?  I don't think he can.

What I eat on a daily basis: ground turkey, red meat, eggs, sweet potatoes, brown rice (sometimes) and oatmeal. Do not care for any type of seafood. I find it very odd and gross to eat something that just came out of the ocean. NASTY!!

5 big candybars, 2 fast break, snickers, 2 butter finger about 2200 calories with those when i got home today was very active up and down ladders all day and was hungry as hell when i got home
played b-ball with some black bros for 1 hour half court not that intense
1 scoop of protien powder
1 scoop rice protien
still hungry, thinking i should eat something and do a good round of pushups or workout of some sort here

i probably could use meat, but i honestly cannot come to the conclusion if meat is cursed or not.  id rather just have some sugars or fats or protien powders cause its cleaner?

if im going to eat meat i would atleast need to pray perhaps or something to show respect, you all can laugh but death of a living being is more serious than we think , oh well if we dont really 'have' to eat meat why do it ? thats just me right now

I was a vegetarian for a year for that very same reason.

It was difficult to maintain the diet though. I lack the discipline to do it.

I slipped back into my primitive carnivore state.

I'm curious if this was a very recent decision of yours though.

Or have you been vegetarian a long time?
