This ^ is right. If the mirror says you do not look good what does it matter what you weigh?


I've already heard people who are diligently working to (and are obsessed with) losing fat totally fret about the scale. They forget that they're also doing resistance exercise and don't realize that as they lose bad weight, they're adding some good weight. Not to mention that, by volume, muscle weighs more than fat.

That can really screw with somebody's head!  Grin

Don't just go by numbers on the scale, man. Look in the mirror, too.
As you lose fat, you are probably building some muscle at the same time, which will skew the scale/weight marker. Use the mirror to judge body composition changes.

Track workout w the battlerope kettlebells cones etc. 

Did sprints farmer walks burpees you name it.

Neutral grip weighted pull up superset with hex bar deadlifts.   3 sets of 8 on the pullup, 3-4 reps on the hex.   Grip suffered on the DL because of the pullup.  Cost about three reps.

2 circuits
10.5 mph 1.5 min sprint on tread mill
Static 20 sec towel hold
Swiss ball cable twist x 20
DB swing x 15
Hammer curl x 15

2 superset - DB shoulder raise, plyo box circuit.
1 set glute/ham raise - not ready for this yet.

Pressed for time today:

Anterior load split squat  8,6,5,5,5  superset  hammer back row 12,12,10

HIT cardio:

20 min 6.3/7.3/8.3/9.3  4x  finish with 10.5 sprint for last min.

4 -12mph sprints 1-2 dgree incline  - 20 sec on, 10 sec rest

5 sets of  -  10 burpees 10 curl & press 10 squats 2 min rowing machine 10 curl & press 10 squats 10 burpees

3 sets  -  10 x Step Up & Military Press

5 sets -  5 burpees 5 pull ups 10 upright row 10 squat 5 burpees

5 sets - 50 flutter kick 10 leg raise 10 sit ups  2 minutes on rowing machine.


little or no rest between sets as possible
