ahhhhhhh the KING of backhanded compliments.  Well, he didn't ask you fuckface but since you offered your worthless 1 cent, please stfu until you know what you are talking about.  You are the last person on this board who should be offering opinions, whether good or bad.  Come back and talk about lifting after you have actually lifted a weight.  You meaningless banter with Pro's is just another pathetic way for you to get your much needed attention.

Michael has made a tremendous transformation in both his body and attitude regarding bodybuilding and bodybuilders, but seeing that you could never obtain such, it is quite sad that you will never see that side of the fence.  And therefor you will never respect anyone else for doing so.  I think they call that "jealousy".  So just keep sitting behind that computer screen posting your "stupid ass shots" Rob.  We're all real interested in what you have to say. ::)

1) He mentioned my name, so yes, I felt inclined to respond.
2) "fuckface".  Very nice.
3) I do lift weights.  Please attack the validity of my statements, not me.

4) I agree mike has made a tremendous transformation in both his body and attitude.  Where did I say he hasn't?  I like Mike and will always shoot him straight.  I have nothing to say to you, Cheri.

if i stopped taking this board so seriously
i would not have met Larry
i would not of had the pleasure of meeting Jimmy Mentis
BIG ANT would not be calling me daily with advice and motivation
i wouldnt be talking to Vinny Galanti on aim and getting his input

so yea to me ..............this board is serious business
my only problem was my "friends" turned out to be not so great friends
that's all..................... .

1) Again, he may have mentioned your name, but he wasn't talking to you for a response.  You made yourself and your intentions perfectly clear.
2) Thank you.
3) You lift weights?  And when do you do this?  You are on getbig almost 18 hours a day, you do sleep I imagine during those other six hours, Don't you?  You say you are married and have a baby on the way, so when do you have the time to lift?
4) You don't like Michael, 240.  Who do you think are you kidding?  You liked him while you were building his site and then you turned after it was all done and you felt you weren't needed anymore.  You emailed him asking him to have your back (because others were insulting you), while in return you throw out your half-ass backwards compliments.  He really doesn't need your kind of comments Rob.  You either have constructive critizism or you applaud him for what he has done not tell him his legs are 3 years behind his upper body.

And you may have nothing to say to me, and I couldn't care less, but I can promise you that I have plenty to say to you each time I think you are outta bounds with your comments, regardless of who they are to.

Okay.  Are you saying his legs are at the same level of his upper body?  If not, how many months/years are they behind? I'd guess 3 years, give or take.

Cheri, he has made a tremendous transformation.  He will do well onstage at his first show.  But he does lack the leg development to match his upper body.  This is not an attack on you, or him.  It is an evaluation of pics he has posted. His calves and biceps do not yet match, by a mile.

240, Mike is aware that his legs don't match his upperbody, but when dieting there is nothing you can do about that.  The goal is to avoid losing muscle when you're calories are so restricted.    I agree that you're being objective and not hateful but bringing that up doesn't make much sense at this point.

no i wasn't

point was of all the people on get-big i counted Rob as one of the people i truly considered a "friend"
(as much as one can be a friend online)

then thru all of this he never said not one word until very recently
if the tables were turned i would be like "Rob you need any help?"
i would go to his show
i would be excited for him
for him to be so silent yea it kinna hurt

(when a total stranger like Larry welcomes me into his home, visits me at my gym, calls me daily
id do the same for anyone else,i find bodybuilding and pre-contest stuff fascinating
i got littleguns sending me bodybuilding DVD'S in the mail
he dont know me from a hole in the wall!
Jimmy Mentis SENDING ME SUPPLEMENTS and shirts
i just thought Freak and 240 WOULD BE A PART OF ALL THIS IS ALL)

and then you turned after it was all done and you felt you weren't needed anymore.

As with all clients, I provided you with the training and detailed instructions to grow and maintain the site yourself, without me.

Not "being needed" anymore is a good thing- it means the client can grow their own site, and I am able to pursue new business.

I never take offense when a client achieves site independece.  Quite the opposite actually :)

I agree with Bast...Mike knows his legs are not as big as he would like them, but he can't add mass now,so whats he gona do? At the same time,I don't really think 240 was dishing out a backward compliment either,I would say he was just being straight up ,and calling it like he sees it..I doubt he ment anything negative toward Mike.

Mike...what are ya doing for clothes? Yours are surely falling off of you from the looks of the before vs after pics..haha :)

Mike, this is simple really.....you're trainin your ass off, dietin your ass off (no pun intended LOL) and preppin to step on stage.   Regardless of the results that's a major milestone for some of us that only previously watched the bb shows and read the bb mags....you're publically comin out and showin the world your progress on easily the most critical bb board on the net...gotta be thick-skinned to post here (and you are).  The results of this show are relatively meaningless...the point is you're gettin on a stage (tremendous in and of itself) and are gonna learn a ton from the experience.  Finish this show and start trainin your ass of to put on size in the off-season (that's the fun stuff)....you'll have an all-new, great base to work build off of now.....come a year...hell, even 6 months from now you're gonna have grown.    I bust everybodys' balls on here, but I also know when to be real with people.   I knew of you when you first posted and you've made dramatic improvements.   Shit, well all have fuckin mirrors and can see where we need to improve.....for competitive and noncompetitive bbs alike, time and consistency are great alies...they only bring bigger, better, more dramatic results.   Keep it up brother!
