Seafood- north Florida coastline. Stuffed snapper and grouper (with blue crab meat), apalachicola bay oysters, fried mullet, steamed blue crab claws, swamp cabbage.

those little things wouldn't even whet my palate. I knew a  former powerlifter who made/sold pancakes that were bigger than the clamshell containers that he placed them in, and they were thick! Most people couldn't handle them, due to them being do filling.

They might look like "poffertjes" (mini pancakes) but they aren't. It's a pile of pancakes and each one has a diameter of 11-12", but they are much thinner, about 0.2".
To make them more "solid" I like some oatmeal in my cakes.

When I stayed with my aunt in Maryland, we had to go to the local crab shack. Amazing stuff.

Here in Texas, everyone is all about the BBQ Brisquits, from what I've seen.
