My son and his family live in Uettingen, Germany. It is a quaint village in Bavaria, which is not far from Wurzburg. He married his German bride 25 years ago. Uettingen is her hometown. We love visiting them, however it is getting more and more expensive and complicated for us to do that between airfare and medical issues/equipment for my wife. She uses oxygen 100% of the time. On the plus side, we never have to worry about logging while we are there.

We look after each other. She is a great wife. Maybe that's the reason we have managed to stay married for 48 years. Of the two of us, she is the better person.

I remember as a young soldier we used to go skiing in Bavaria and we called it eX Snow Queen( they liked to name everything). we had a ski hut/lodge which the Regiment rented and we lived there. I enjoyed the Down hill skiing but also the Langlauf cross country skiing.. there were routes to follow and we went from Cafe to Cafe and got Drunk on Glühwein ;D. they stopped it after a guy had an accident on the Ski slope, this guy used to just fly down the slopes and shout , "BANZIE".. no joke. the slopes were colour coded to show the difficulty and this Guy was drunk and just went for it on a difficult slope i think it was colour code RED. anyway he broke a leg so the instructor got into trouble( we had our own guys as instructors) and we then had to behave ourselves. Yes Prime..i have good memories of the Girls there too...lots of Rich girls skiing with Mummy and Daddy and they loved to party with us. Great Times.
well Prime i live near HANNOVER and feel free to give me a shout if you are over.

was planning to do legs today but i will take today off because i feel it today after my chest+back workouts..good fatigue. I will do an Ab workout and go for a walk tonight to stretch off my legs and lower back and tomorrow i will Squat hard and Pre Exhaust my Quads and Hams. i think you have to listen to your body and take a rest when you need it. This is not being lazy and at 46 i know and feel when i need to take a Day off.My older son is laughing at me now as he is packing his Gym Bag to go and Train...he tells me there are some nice Girls where he trains... ;)

donny in germany is it mandatory to do a stint in military?had a guy i worked with stationed in germany loved it,and my training partner who's turkish lived in germany for a bit...

well you know i´m a Scot..and was in the British Army. When i joined it was still the cold war time and a lot of us got sent to BAOR ( British Army of the Rheine). The US Army were more in the South of Germany but i did work with them now and again. My Brother was in Germany too. I served :
1985 till 1989 Royal Artillery
1989 till 1995 Royal Corps of Signals

so legs Today.. feeling very full of energy today.
Jump rope warm up. 10 minutes(1 min skipping 30 secs rest till i reach 10 mins)
Supersets
Leg extensions 3x10-15
Front squat 3x10+

leg curls 3x10-15
Dumbbell lunges 3x10( hit my Hams nice too)
standing one leg calf raises 3x15+ With
jumping rope( this is a great combination which i really enjoy, simple but effective)

Good workout Donny.  I am hoping to train tomorrow, couldn't today as we have alot of flooding where I am and very strong winds from a cyclone up north.

Yes they will turn from domesticated cats into big wild ones.  Plus I wouldn't be able to sleep if I didn't feed them.  It would keep me up all night feeling terrible.  I bought them chicken breast today because I give them that a couple of times a week.

chicken breast?? get better fed than me...lol It´s a bit warmer outside which is good as i will go later out on my bike, still got to wrap up though..

Intresting Arm workout... the closest grip i use is the inside of an ez bar (if you know what i mean) when doing preacher curls.

depends on the ez bar hurts my wrist,,straight bar is just right..i did wider grip on the premade ez curl bar.im sore from the dumbells full to partial reps..

Yes I find it fills them up and makes them very content.  I do spoil my pets.  Glad it's warmer for you though.   :)
