;) bulking period over will now concentrate on reining in my diet for the summer monthes so i don't get harpooned. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I have had the same thought lately. What I am doing is eating smaller portions. I would like to drop at least 20 lbs. and in so doing recapture my youth....hope it works. Oh, and I will then get to go shopping for new summer clothes too. Just a little side benefit.

Tonight i was going to take the soft option and jump rope at home...but i thought get outside and i took a snap shot ...

did a donny type workout had 45 to 50 minute window today for legs,,,so'''
 quads warmed up and started leg press 4 plates per x10 went to squat 225 x10 then extension 205 x10 stack type pumped
set 2 leg press 5 plates per x10,squat 275 x10 close feet sorry,,then extension 220 x10 very pumped feel seperation through sweats lol
set 3 leg press 6 plates per x10 ,squat 315 x 8 or 9 lost count ,225 x10 extension heaving last of the reps was shot...

then hack squat 4 plates per feet a bit wider than squat and toes /feet slightly out,duck x10 then walking lunges 50 lb db 12 steps or so per leg
up gym floor x2 same weights used

hams
stifflegged dlift 185 x10 superset situp leg curl 180 x10
235 x10 with 195 x10
235 x10 with 195 x10

calves seated calf raise did opposite kind of drop added instead 2 45's x10 added 25 x10 then added 25 for 10 again 30 reps did this 3x around.
adding weight up burns as much as heavy too light,,,,

workout was 50 minutes long partner was sitting down winded every single set ,,i kept moving,standing and even lapped him some sets i was ahead full curcuit then him at times,,,lol,,,

We have been having sunny spring weather all week. It is about to come to an abrupt end when it starts raining tomorrow and continues all week. Well at least I got the moss control on the lawn and mowed it for the first time this season. I think I am becoming one of the people who is obsessed with having the perfect lawn. Not to worry though, this will keep me busy for some time since it was all moss and weeds in the front when we bought the house. All over the yard, there are signs of spring. The daffodils I planted much too late in the season are about to pop their fragrant blooms. There is a sea of lavender, white and purple spring crocus blooming under the red oak. Up by the front door the yellow primroses are blooming and sprouting new leaves. The hydrangeas are budding out. All over the planting beds, if you look really close you can see the first signs of a variety of perennials pushing through the soil. Another month and things should be looking great with all signs of winter gone.

50 mins of quality time in the gym...making the most of every set. good drills  :)

then you did the job steve... you train intensive. Only with good exercise selection, sets and intensity can you achieve this. well your pics say it all.. need i say more ? ;)

 Jump rope and 30 Dumbbell swings.

Tri-set
Flat DB Bench press 4x6-10
Incline flyes 4x10-15
Parallel Bar Dips 4x6-10

see how this works without incline press. Always wanted to try this tri set which i have in a book from Bob Kennedy.

An update on what's been happening with me. Sorry I kind of deserted you guys but I felt frustrated when I couldn't put my training log on line by line. I do miss you all and just miss the banter back and forth as well as the support etc that we give one another.  I should have my laptop back soon. Spoke to the tech person today and basically I have two anti viral progs over riding each other. That is why it's staying on the blue screen with please wait. I bought my pc with both and the tech person is wondering if they sold me a display laptop cause it doesn't come with two. Also my software the display driver keeps dropping out and it has been like this since I purchased it. Software issues are not covered by warranty and I have to pay to get it fixed. I said I would pay for them to remove the anti virus prog and I would keep my norton. They wanted to fix the software issues and take the computer back to how I took it home but that was alot of money and even then couldn't guarantee me the display driver wouldn't drop out. So I said I would try to reinstall that software myself. As far as health goes, the swelling in my nose has come down quite a bit in the past week. It feels better and I have movement in the tip. Before it felt like a hard clown nose. My left ear has some pain but I will let the nose ears and throat surgeon look at this when I see him at the end of this month. Basically that issue went away and then came back when I began training again. Here's a selfie I took today.

Thanks Donny, I feel healthy. My hair really suffered when I was taking antibiotics for 16 months straight. Now it feels good again with lots of body and is shiny and soft.  I am watching walking dead on tv. :-)
