I know this isn't much poundage on anything, but remember this is my first week after about two years of occasional Nautilus only workouts. I was doing over 1,000lbs on the leg press before I slacked off. It took awhile for my knees to loosen up on the hack squat, especially the right one which is the leg where I have sciatica problems. The good news is that for the most part the sciatica isn't nearly as bothersome as it was prior to starting this routine this week. Although I said I might wuss out on calves today, I went ahead and did them. Soon I will have legs like you njflex. When that happens, I will post up photos of me in my skivvies too.

Next week my wife will be coming with me to the gym three days a week, because she is starting physical therapy at North Lake Physical Therapy, which is attached to the gym. Since her last fall, she has had ongoing pain in her leg. At first the doctor thought she'd broken something, but the x-rays showed no breaks of fractures. When we were at the doctor's on Thursday, I suggested that maybe she'd bruised her spine, which might be causing sciatica. The doctor agreed with my diagnosis (heck, I should have become a doctor). Since her ability to exercise is nil, maybe the physical therapy will help ease her pain. I dropped her off to do some grocery shopping across the street from the gym while I did my workout. They have motorized chairs/shopping carts. Grocery shopping is one of her favorite things to do.
I accused her of stealing my sciatica symptoms.
