-Saw my orthopedist today. Guess I am doing better then expected. It can take a year for the new formed cartilage to fully develop. The general weakness in my right leg is normal. The quad starts atrophying immediately following surgery. Doing the prescribed exercises helps keep the quad muscle viable, but one still loses strength apparently. Although I can't see it, the doctor says I still have some swelling in the joint.....not that joint....LOL!

Having sciatica complicates my recovery some, since it is hard to tell what is affected by this and what is a result of the knee surgery. I will just have to learn to live with the sciatica because no way do I intend to have my surgery on my spine.

Next Monday, I begin 8 weeks of physical therapy to help with my recovery. Lindsey, the physical therapist I've used in the past for back problems is great. If anyone will get me back in shape, it will be Lindsey. We'll be working on mobility/flexibility and strength along with the therapeutic advantages of ultrasound and massage.

I imagined I'd be back at it (working out) full-bore by now. Perhaps I was overreaching.

Thanks Jay.....on a funny note my Mother said " you look like an ass"

What do mothers know? My mom had me dressing like a preppy kid before it was in style. When I was a freshman in high school, she wanted me to wear cords to school when all the other guys were wearing 501's. She thought jeans were for poor folks....much too working class she thought. Back in those days, my hair was always hanging in my eyes. I should be so lucky today. Come to think of it, my mom had a lot of silly ideas but she meant well.

I trained 34 years natty....just decided to hop on gear 2 years ago. Most of the time I just run GH ( Seros) at 4iu ed on workout days and about 875 of pharma test per week. I throw in other stuff here and there but at my age the GH/Test just makes me feel great and the sex is better than 30 years ago. Running some Winny now but that is killing me but it was free. Some EQ also but that is going to BP issues. Going forward I think I will just run GH/Test and either Primo or Var. That's it.

Do you just play your PED use by ear? How do you know what is healthy and what is too much? What about your liver? Some people's livers are more affected by meds and such then others. I'm laughing at you saying that "Winny" is killing you, but that you are using it because it was free. If I gave you some free arsenic, would you use that too? Just saying.

Have blood work done 2X year.....Liver is fine just RBC count up. Only been running gear for 2 years and I am just now figuring out what works for me. You should be laughing at me about the Winny. I should throw it in the damn trash. I don't feel good but it is making me look great. In the end we are all a little OCD about our conditioning. For me now GH/Test/and either Primo or Var is what makes me look good and still feel good. Maybe EQ here and there but I am about done with that too. Arsenic eh? haven't tried that! ;D

Wow how times change but styles always come back around strange isn't it. Usually it takes about 20 years.

Totally, my wife knows everything....much easier that way.

I just explained to my wife why I was using HCG to insure my one real testicle didn't become a raisin. I think I totally lost her. I looked over at her and the expression on her face was "whatever" you are a nut job.

I love those basic routines. I just can't handle the low rep stuff any more...too many years PL. I stay in the 10-20 range now and have never felt better.

i normally like more reps myself but like working out less. I suppose as you Americanos say Bang for your Bucks. I do not like the Heavy Duty Thing but like the look of this. i have also trained 5 Days and it it works very well. Due to work and other things i find it hard to fit it all in. I like to do cardio and i like a day free to do it. it will be hard not to do flys. laterals as i also believe the muscle should be hit from every angle. still we will see....

;D..have to ask and give benefit before doubt, still great lift.leg press is easily biggest ego inflator exercise ,I see guys load it 9/10 plates per side and bend there knees 1/4 inch and do 8 and come off machine limping ,i'm like  ::)...try doing 5 plates per side knees to chest 20 reps then partner goes then u hop back in ,after 3 x around your toast.

Yea I hate that too....I see kids loading up the bench and doing half reps, squats that look like good mornings and rows that look like DLs. Last night during arms some fat teenager was doing half squats with 95 lbs grunting like he was getting fucked by a horse or something. My little wife comes in puts 135 on the bar and does 10 perfect below parallel reps while I stared at the kid. My wife secretly enjoyed it!

Keep on trucking.

I was depressed all day. Something needs to change and change fast. I cannot go on like this. It sucks.

My day: slept until 11:00 a.m. because there was no real reason to get out of bed. Got up, showered, weighed myself, ate breakfast and then sat down at the computer to write a couple of articles I needed to get in today. Watched my wife sleeping in the living room most of the day and wonder if this was me in the future. my knee was okay, not great. The sciatica was acting up making it difficult for me to walk. Like a cripple, I brought in the empty garbage cans after the trash was picked up, limped down the driveway to pick up the mail, limped down the driveway to get the paper. I could go on but writing this is depressing me even more.
