Cool.  Getting ready to leave in awhile.  Will be doing a total body, well, upper body because of my fiddler crab right leg  ;D, workout.

One set to failure of each of the following.

Pull-ups.
Smith Machine bent over rows.
One arm DB rows.

Machine bench press.
Smith Machine incline bench press.
DB flat bench flys.

Standing DB laterals.
Machine shoulder presses.
DB bent over laterals.

BB curls.
Alternate DB curls.
Scott Bench curls.

Tricep Pushdowns.
Close grip machine bench press.

Pulley wrist curls - Both directions.

Machine sit-ups.

A co-worker says he will come in to train with me but I doubt it.    ;D  My German sucks. Even though that is a large part of my heritage I could never learn to speak it as my family stopped when they came to America because as my father said, they came here to be Americans, not Germans in America.
I made sure my two sons speak English too...with a Scottish accent  ;D

One Arm DB press 4 sets(just using one Bell swapping Arms)
Close grip BB upright rows 4 sets

 finish off with some Abs. Will go straight for a run on the streets after about 45 mins.

I like now itīs Dark early and cool outside. I love the cool evening air. I donīt like to run on Busy streets i like it when itīs Dark and quite. i have my peace. so i better get my arse in gear. ;D

I donīt go crazy weight wise on Delts...One arm DB press with a Hammer neutral grip i like.

triset side laterals/rears/front raise w curl bar x4

shoulder press single arm dbells x2

uprights x3 cable

side rear cable x2

traps
supersets fr/rear/side 10 reps per x3

2 sets pushups 20/30

calves single leg calf raises 12 reps per x4...

few new pics ,staying tight ,but eating a bit more,no major bulk planned lol..

Rest today and the usual Doctor visit later on in the early afternoon.   ;D

I can "feel" Fall coming in the early morning air (I am usually up at 1:30 a.m. or so, Left Coast Time).  I suppose I am in what one could call (and Sinatra did) the September of my life.

And now its October.  ;D

I'm usually at the gym sometime between 3:30 and 4:15 a.m.  I don't really sleep all that well, usually 1.5 to maybe 2 hours a night.  Sometimes more and usually not less.  I supposedly have sleep apnea (waiting to be tested) and according to my family members I just stop breathing for up to a minute and half at a time.  Once I wake up that's pretty much it for me and I just stay away.   ;D

I mostly listen to music but will also watch a movie and read a magazine.  I like to be at the gym early because there's usually no one there to laugh at my pathetic weights!  ;D

It can be.  After over twenty years of it I suppose I am used to it.  I live on caffeine.  I've stopped the caffeine entirely and still don't sleep.  Once the sleep apnea is officially diagnosed I might be able to afford the dorkalyzer  ;D breathing machine and sleep. 

That's my hope and I'm stickin' to it!  ;D ;D

had a change of heart......decided to include hams with quads......the workout turned out to look like this:

leg press  4 sets

squats  3 sets

leg extensions  4 sets


lying leg curls  4 sets

unilateral leg curls 4 sets

Have you gone to a sleep center and had the sleep test?

My wife has sleep apnea. She submitted to a sleep study which confirmed it. Unfortunately, she cannot stand wearing the face piece and so she doesn't use the equipment. Her doctor gave up asking her about it and so did I. She nods off throughout the day, which probably makes up for the disrupted sleep at night.

Her catching her breath used to keep me awake. I started wearing ear plugs so I wouldn't hear her. These days, I am able to simply tune it out. Of course the bad thing in one can die from this condition. If she died in her sleep, I probably wouldn't know it until the next morning.

I will be tested next month.   Wife of my youngest brother is an ICU nurse and she said I should have no problem failing the test as she watched me sleep one night when I visited them.  I stop breathing a lot.  Oh well.  It could be worse.  My wife recorded my breathing last night and she played it back for me this morning.  It sounded like liquid over boulders and the reason is I am bleeding internally again and when I am lying down it can come up if it pools in my stomach/throat.  It is what it is which is life as I have come to know it.  There are a great many people that are worse off than I.

I will be fine.  If not, I will find out the truth or the lie of my beliefs.  I just won't be able to tell any of you, dammit!  ;D 

No training today but eating well.  A half pound of sliced roast beef and four hardboiled eggs were my breakfast along with water and some vitamins.

walking lunges x2 80 lb bar on back
extensions sets 12 220/235/250

hams and calves tri set

Good work MEN:::: Today i was reading one of my old Books from Vince gironda and was looking at High pulls for upper back/delts/traps. Some do Power High pulls from the floor or Boxes and even sumo style. I think they are a very good power lift. A good change from Upright rows. I do them trom a hang position like Gironda showed although i donīt lift so high as in his picture. I know Rich has a good Base on Power moves as he includes them in his routines.
