have added. i dip and go heavy also doing back adds. i know when i do do direct arm trainng they will increase significantly.

ok so today i was gonna rest but had to go into town for my das birthday so i decided to go to gym also. on side note shoulder feeling good. once again i started bantering with an old fella who still is strong etc saying how he cheats using straps. we were only slaggin so we decided to do t bar rows to see who could go heavier and most reps. him with straps me without.

it was very sticky and clamy and gripping was tough but we both got up to 350lb for set of 5 then decided to call it a draw. was glad. he turned a mediocre workout fun and got good pump. harrys one of those old guys with barrel chest and still pretty lean. stil wears world gym baggy over his t shirt.

i also intented to do calves but this wee challenge took over lol

200x5 250x5 300x5 350x5 300x10 250x12 200x15

called it a day. this week was disturbed by easter and gym being closed etc. next week ill hopefulluy be able to bench and dead again and start new cycles to take me to end of summer.

Shoulder getting better tho still not tried benching. all io done today was dips as legs were still sore from other day.

threw in extremelt light sidelaterals just to loosen up shoulder and get blood in area. i was ridiculously pumped

You've got virtually the same structure and proportions as Steve Reeves. Your back development is particularly good. All those deadlifts are definitely paying off.

Bring up the legs, and I guarantee that you could probably beat most juicers. I would suggest training legs 2-3 times a week, alternating leg presses and hack squats. Barbell squats are pretty overrated as a leg exercise, and you're almost guaranteed to get injured in the long run.

excellent thanks man appreciate that a lot. tho im no where near steve reeves tho an old boy sed that to me b4. well he called him jim reeves lol. im hittin legs twice a week and been doin high reps also. mite start to throw in front squats i dunno see hoe i go in the next few months. cant wait for winter training. hate summer training. too warm

Looking aweosme though bro. Iv been doing back and front squats actually and even though u gotta use lighter weights for front squats i feel my legs more the next day doin them than i do day after back squats.

what was ur split again?Basic if i remember,which i think is that best way.

Im just back from workout,im tired and sore.Bis are the worst and i never worked them 2day. lol.

i have done front squats before and i find it hard to keep my elbows up. shoulder seems ok unles si put it in relaly retarted pose....so ill not do that and ill def try bench presing again on monday. one week breakin in then ill go like the clappers.

I notice u have no direct shoulder work. U hav great shoulders. do u think that if u added a shoulder exercises they may grow even faster??

i duno and to be honest i dont wanna try. too many cooks etc...

also my workouts are pretty intense and i would not have the energy or time with uni etc. delts have always been good. at this stage im just trying to add mass and strength. i have no aspiratoins of bodybuilding so i dont really see the point.

they get hit and hit hard from my pressing movements and rowing.

Mate of mine follows total basic workout MOn,Tue,Thur,Fri aswell:

Monday
Bench Press: 2 sets x 5 reps
Weighted Dips: 2 sets x 10 reps
Skull Crushers: 2 sets x 8 reps
Calf Raises: 2 sets x 20 reps
Full Squats: 3 sets x 10 reps


Tuesday
T-bar Rows: 3 sets x 6 reps
Dumbbell Shoulder Presses: 2 sets x 6 reps
Barbell Curls: 3 sets x 8 reps

Thursday
Bench Press: 2 sets x 8 reps
Incline Press: 2 sets x 8 reps
Skull Crushers: 2 sets x 8 reps
Deadlifts: 3 sets x 3 reps
Calf Raises: 2 sets x 20 reps

Friday
Wide Grip Chins: 2 sets x as many as possible
Curl Grip Chins: 2 sets x as many as possible
Dumbbell Shoulder Presses: 2 sets x 8 reps
Dumbbell Hammer Curls: 2 sets x 8 reps

Not much to it like. Though i wouldnt try it, not enough of shoulder/power stuff that i lie doing.

In order to try get shoulder ecuperated started benching again. 100lbs just the other day. sets of 20.

this week ill do about 150 next week about 200

then start a new cycle at about 240lbs

Said it before and il say it again, ur a bear lol.

Love the way u did 70kg for 10 reps then at the end put it back on and thought 'what the heck' and just pumped out 30 reps lol awesome.

I Bought progain yesterday bro. Only bought £25 which is alot better than magazines i think.

Gonna take it easy today on teh SLDL and clean/press b/c backs still bit dodgy, but the rest will b fine.
Iv got the dreaded pullover and press today,3x15. Im so happy when i finish each one of those sets,just b/c its over lol.
