I will give Trump credit for having "the Claw" quickly dismantled and new sod installed. If I remember correctly, he teased that it might be permanent and compared it to "the Eiffel Tower" which is not far off considering the Eiffel Tower was built as the centerpiece for the 1889 World's Fair. It was originally meant to be temporary... sort of. The intent was to remove it after 20 years.

You hit the nail right on the head. tRUMP always has to denigrate someone and he has to pretend that what anyone else did was a disaster.. had he just renovated the lincoln reflecting pool and not bragged about how great it was going to be, thanks to him , of course, nobody would have even cared. It's really tRUMP who has suffered from O.B.S. for all these many years. he has engaged in oneupsmanship since day one, and on this he has failed miserably.. Note how they don't say anything about higher prices across the board, thanks to tRUMP.
