To all getbiggers who have been or are still currently in a relationship, what is the secret to longevity in an intimate relationship (girlfriend, wife, fiance)?

What factors have you identified that has positively contributed to your relationship?

Relationships have to be deeper than attractions. Having a friendship with your significant other is probably the most important factor.

Having expectations.

If you have expectations with anyone in life, you will always be dissapointed, hence don't have any expectations.

People spend too much focusing on what others need to bring to the table.

Wish I knew.been with my wife 14 years and I'm an asshole.I mean I don't hurt her or anything but I don't go to family functions and basically don't do anything I don't want to which is everything.All guys I meet ask me how I do it and I just say that's how I am,I don't do anything I don't want to.The only holiday I do is xmas day nothing else.I guess I'm a jerk but I laid down how I am at the beginning so she knew what she was in for.She is a wonderful mother and cooks everyday and I basically just work.i laugh when guys say let me ask the boss,I ask no one anything.granted I don't drink or party,I just hit the casino a couple days a week and that's my fun.my wife knows I won't cheat as I truly don't care for women,I can't stand talking with them or listening to them etc...

Basically have no clue.hahah.

the ability to discuss about everything.
girl got compulsive-obsessive disorder, generally about few absurd detail, so be careful on these point and she will let you in peace.
Being pragmatic and not taking care too much about what she's thinking because it's generally too emotional.
Be an asshole sometime then bang her right and hard to apologize.

Married for 31 years and been with her more years. If she is your best friend and have mutual values it goes a long way. It also helps if you quickly get rid of grudges and rely on each other. That crazy intense fake love you feel when you first meet someone will fade. What lasts is real love. As time goes on you will realize the history of your life has her in it on every page. I now understand the cemetery. Go to one and you will find an old person staring and sometimes talking to a headstone. Some bring a folding chair. Don't get me wrong. When a fine thick ass girl walks by I still think damn. I'm human.

My wife and I treat each other very well, we're extremely supportive. I would never do anything to hurt her, wouldn't want to. Which is why I beat and molest other women, not her. Seems to work for us.
