Feat of strength? Hahaha! Thats some pretty average shit in the strongman/pl scene, oats. I have hit 225x6 before I tore my shoulder too. I'm unbelievably strong, hahahahah!! ;D

ive seen 185 done by a couple of guys at the gym before, but on an ezcurl bar.. another shit fucking thread - but i had to post in it!
edit: it also depends on how you do it, if you actually bring the bar down to your nose or behind/over your forehead then its a different story for each, cos its kind of cheated, but doing strict reps reaps different benefits.

they are 2 in my gym and no matter where they are guys hunt those 2 plates down to make their bench and deadlift look good

He dont do squat every time.But, I saw always below 180kg(4plates). His max is 300kgX6reps. But he did it only once in his life in Golds venice.
I still havent seen him doing dead lift. But he says he is a big believer of dead lift.
He has a plan to be 135kg in this winter. But the guy is fragil. I hope he dont get injured...

But, you have to realize the people that ask you these questions are coming from another perspective (the ppl that dont know anything about bb'ing basically) they just rednecks that point and ask how much you bench. I never see amateurs/pros/anyone been "bodybuilding" over a few years ask those ridiculous questions, bc they know how much u lift isnt important, its how much you look like you can lift is. Just take them as compliments and realize you obviously have a body that isnt the "norm" or "stands out" from the rest of society. good job

Obviously you lift weights, but over the years I have learned that front raises are not necessary due to all the pressing movements involved in weight training. Something some don't learn until they become elite ;D Let me know when you have a combined 18 years of weight training, 14 of those being consecutive at this point; didn't think so!

::) make sure it's at least a 45 and 35 on each side of the EZ bar or a plate and two tens per side if you're using the 7 foot olympic bar and lower that weight all the way down and lock it each on each rep.

I use a weight I can handle for a good 8-12 reps and continuously get bigger and stronger triceps. Not much sense in using more weight if it's not even gonna stimulate the triceps properly.

Yeah it might not be anywhere near perfect form but his "close grip behind the necks" ARE working his tries, it woulkd be impossible to train tries super heavy without sacrificing some form.

I just did incline triceps extensions the other day with a 110 lbs barbell for right around 30 reps. It isn't beyond belief, but it bugs me when people say they are going to post a video and then don't.

what type of extensions are these? are you lowering the bar for a full stretch and keeping your elbows stationary the whole time or are they Branch Warren type "extensions" that look more like a half close grip bench press/half extension?

Both at the same time kills the stabilizers, so yes its better. I only do them every now and again because its a bitch to get them into position. Kinda need a spotter, but I get by.

As far as form goes, thats as tight as I can get my elbows even with an empty olympic bar. Im not that flexible. I understand that they are not as clean as your flawless form, guys.

I think most people use a weight they can handle. Gustavo and Ronnie do this exercise with around 135lbs on the ez-bar. You aren't doing overhead extensions with 185, so why cheat yourself and the gains you could make by doing 1/4 reps?

I tried these this morning and worked up to 175 lbs for 4 reps pretty easy. That said, my shoulder flexibility precludes me from doing a proper overhead extension, hence why I don't do them. My form, I am sure, looks a lot like that of Wicked and Lift. I will take a video either Sunday or Monday.
