Im gonna have a contest
Whoever on get big can tell me the best reason why they should be chosen for the money will win $5000 towards the charity of your choice or $500 dollars in your pocket which I will send you, and if you want I will donate the money in your name and send you the receipt so you can have it for tax purposes if you want. If you want the 500, you have to give me a good reason why you should get 500 instead of a charity getting 5000. Theres no particular reason for this, its just for fun.

For a guy who is a dick to me all of the time I have to humbly agree right here. I have to walk through these places every so often to find lost animals and it tears me up. I always end up drunk by the end of the night. There has to be a better way...

i agree with you actually even I would be super suspicious because of the timing. The fact is I had a 94 year old grandparent who had never spent a dime in a lifetime pretty much and I come from a very small family so it got split in half of which I got half. I knew I was getting it for yearsm its not a sick thingm, it was just a fact of life. Its not a be all end all amount of money. I need to use my head with it so I dont blow through it all quickly as I am prone to do. Believe me, its sooooooooooooooo not a big deal. It just helps me live a little better

I usually do pretty well in sit n go's, not so well in MTT's. I mostly play cash games though, low stakes NL and PLO. I fare well at rush poker too, but that shit is intense, can only handle it in measured doses ;D

I`d like the $500 so I can take a weekend scuba trip to the Great Barrier Reef; I think it would be a fantastic time and a rare experience.
And donate the 5k to any local animal charity or something like save the whales since you're in BC. 5k does a lot more to help animals than people.

Humane society, why? because I love animals and a lot of the animals @ humane society need medicine/care
also because the humane society does an amazing job of giving a shit when most people wouldn't, plus most of the other charities I think are worthless and scam most of their funds into 'administrative' costs like the manager driving a new lexus and wearing a $2000 hugo boss suit, humane society really does so much for homeless/sick animals, not to mention they charge next to nothing to adopt a pet from them!

My mothers house burned down when she was a young girl, it was the middle of winter in Ohio and her family was left cold, homeless and destitute.
The Salvation Army stepped up to help, they were given a place warm place to stay, hot meals and new clothes.
I have donated cars, cash and other items to them over the years to try and pay it forward. I say put $5,000 into the kettle anonymously.

I love animals too but personally I find it hard to justify donating large sums towards animals as long as there are humans who are in poverty around the world.

I love animals too but personally I find it hard to justify donating large sums towards animals as long as there are humans who are in poverty around the world.
I have to agree with this...not that I don't have a soft side for animals but, I think a donation to St. Jude's hospital in Memphis, TN would be awesome. Children that have been stricken with those deadly diseases are far more disturbing to me. I know some of the staff there, the techs shave their heads so they have the same hairstyle as the children! ;D Awesome place!
For you guys that aren't familiar with this place, they treat children and the only payment is what they can pay or donate. The donations is how the hospital survives and thousands of children's lives are changed forever!

THE REMAINING 10% is what went to the actually people the charity was suppose to help.

CEO MADE 9 MILLION/YR
these board jobs are usually filled through political type appointments and these guys might be actually in the office or on the actual job site as it is called , about an average of 1 hour/month it was found.
THE REST OF THE 22 MEMBER BOARD WAS PAID 47 MILLION/YEAR.
now this was in 1991 and after this investigation very little changed if anything.
