Mr. Chaos

On my wendler program, the last lift of the day in each week three is a max effort.

This is my second week 3.  On deadlifts, I've been exceeding the rep range

Stop exceeding the rep range

I'm not exceeding -
???

The hex bar may be giving you an advantage in reps over a straight bar? Haven't used a trap bar enough for a truly honest opinion, still wouldn't strap in. chalk up, work grip strength. I used static holds and behind the back barbell rolls to help keep my grip from failing.

Exceeding may have been a bad term......I was just doing better than expected - I may have underestimated my one one rep max when I started.

Excellent advice on chalk...glad you didn't say straps....will try over the next month.

Anyone ever use the WOSS suspension trainer?

We have TRX in the gym and I like it - but want to get one for myself - WOSS is like $40 and TRX like $175

TRX is a good piece of equipment, but wildly overpriced.   You make a similar thing from Home Depot with chain, pvc pipe and a few Caribiners....but I have one anyway, got it as a gift.

There are so many damn things to do w the suspension trainer that humble the F out of you.   We did a lot yesterday - god damn - was feeling like Day 1 training wise

Chalk seemed to work - got 15 reps with 293 and grip was still good.

The Y board is officially rejuvenated.

Personal time is now affected by thoughts - what ARE the two types of side raises?.....why even do one?.....was the travel time to the gym double that of what was actually spent there?
