Good and bad.

Ex is depressed and making two of the kids crazy.

I'm leaving town, for school, at the worst possible time that could be imagined. Not leaving town now means delaying graduation by more than one year. :)
Good to have you back man, Calvin has left.

Do you ever get any shoulder pain at the top of the clean portion?

No I have good flexibilty. But some people I train do feel that. What type of chest movements are you doing could be a key.

For a while, I was incorporating some hi-pulls, which is similar biomechanics, but without the resistance's directional reversal at the top. I was going to try hang cleans, but my left shoulder's been a bit tender for the last few weeks.

What are your thoughts on the relationship of clean pain and chest movements?

Bench press irritates the front deltoid, try inclines for awhile until pain goes away.

Thank you, sir.
I've eliminated shoulder discomfort from chest presses by using dumbbells almost exclusively for my free weight movements. My pain seems to be in the lateral aspect of my delt. It's not bad or even constant, but I want to take good care of my shoulders.
