September 26 27 there os a C and L at West Point if you want to jump in.   I can give you a buddy pass for the C for free too as a 1st time guy.

I totally appreciate that, but too short notice for me.

If you ever have anything like that in the future, I'd be game.  There is a trainer at my gym who said he'd do a challenge with me and my buddy.  I'm looking into one that works best for us, and I'll let you know.

Did a great one yesterday - a sort of mash up for 1 hour and was drenched at the end.

Did stuff like - 5 burpees  - walk over to 120 dumbbell - 10 sumo squat - walk over to 40lbs - 5 man makers - 5 burpees  -   3 sets

5 burpees - 10 thrusters w 40lbs dumbbells - 5 burpees  3 sets

Stew Smith Multi Joint circuit w dumbbells

Tonight - probably 30 minutes stairmaster and 20 sets of 10 pull ups - 25 pushups - 20 sit ups

Both books are great.  but my only advice - get a pack - toss 35-40lbs in it - and get mving.  HEAVY is no FNG joke.  99% of the people on this site would quit in the first 30 minutes easily - let alone 24-30 hours of being deal w shit from Spec Ops people.

Do a ton of functional fitness stuff.  Like a TON - pushups sit ups flutter kicks pull ups  - overhead duck walks, bear crawls, etc.  HEAVY is a massive kick in the balls

Box squats 10 sets x 2 reps superset 4-5 pullups.  One minute rest after finishing squat, pullups cut into rest time.

15 min circuit 1 minute on, 15 sec rest.

Circuit 5x:

10 mph run on treadmill
100 db static hold, finish minute with pushup
Flutter kick x 80-90 finish with crunch

Juuuuust wanted to tell you guys I hit a new PR! 225# squat for eight reps. NO KNEE PAIN EITHER! I don't know too many ladies in the two plate club. I also don't know many ladies who squat almost 100# over bodyweight. So I'm feeling mighty accomplished.

To be honest, I don't know. I think part of the problem has always been that my legs get stronger consistently and quickly, but since I've only been lifting seriously for about 6 years, my knees haven't necessarily had the time to adjust. Like my shoulders NEVER get stronger, so THAT joint NEVER needs to adjust to new stimulus, so no shoulder pain.
That said, it HAS been six years, so...I wish they'd adjust already.

Short answer: no clue
