It is harder the way your doing it because your not recruiting the most powerful leg muscles into the start.  The cahleenge will be mental for you as you need to retrain the neural pathways. You may have to lighten up to get the form but youll quickly gain huge strength and surpass this weight easily. 8)

Theres a difference between strapping in for reps and max effort, I know it means nothing to steroid abusers like yourself, and in the future ironneck, but reality is pulling with straps is much easier. Not shitting on his effort, just trying to guide him in the right direction and unless he is training strongman(lift heavy shit regardless of form) then he's not doing it right and he would be wise to take the criticism and turn it into a properly executed deadlift.

i stopped squatting cause my ass got too big

on the bench i'm doing the 120kgx2 right now

Theres more stress on your low back this way and not the good kind.
Open your grip just a tiny bit so you can get your legs between your arms comfortably, keep your ass low, head up, bar very close to your shins so that when you start the move the bar actually touches them, and drive through your heels, pulling back, not straight up.

This or chalk the bar, I find that helps fill in the knurls on the bar that tear open your shins.

as you'll hear pl'ers say to one another when they pull, "push your feet through the floor", it goes on other lifts to, imagine youre trying to push yourself through the bench when you bench press and you'll recruit your lats more.

dont understnd why you want me to be a drug user but im not.. and never will be...
he like me just lift for recreation or to build his back up hes not a powerlifter or at a meet.... if straps help him to hold on to the weight to hit a max whats the problem thats how he lifts
and i will try the long socks
i dont wear shorts in the gym so it wont look weird not that it would matter to me

the last couple of USAPL meets ive been to they made it mandatory for the competitors wear knee length socks for the deadlift, if you didnt they wouldnt let you pull.
