Thanks Rich....i am a bit hung over today so i will rest and Train tomorrow.... ;D go for a run tomorrow and sweat out the Booze...

This is one reason I decided to forego scotch. It has been about two weeks since I had any scotch and I feel great. While I don't have hangovers (which considering how much I drink sometimes is odd), drinking does deplete my energy levels the next day. I am going to stick to the occasional glass of wine.

still can´t believe i´m 47....still feel like i did at 20 in this old Picture....i´m on the right

You look like such a baby-faced little cherub of a guy in this photo. Of course from my perspective, 47 is still a youngster. Take care of your skin and your health and you can look good still in another 27 years. Like Booty suggests, there is nothing quite like the benefits of Coconut oil or cocoa butter. I've been putting it on the surgery scars on my stomach and they are gradually disappearing. Stay away from booze, it can age you.

So, does this happen to you a lot? I mean women taking you into their bosom's. I always looked older than my age, never had that sweet little cherub face. Is this why I have not been taken into older women's bosoms? Come to think of it, at my age an older woman's bosom might not be much fun. There are not many "perky" 70 year olds.  ::)

Steve,

You have quite the vascularity in your lower arms. Do you think this is a result of getting leaner? Your chest does look more defined than in previous photos.

I am only on week 5 since starting back. I feel like there have already been many positive changes. Although I am not doing cardio, my stomach is flatter looking. My arms measured 16 3/4" when I got home from working arms yesterday. I suspect they were still somewhat pumped since it was only about an hour later. I have too much fat on my lower back still which is annoying....any ideas besides liposuction?

My plan is to take photos after I've been hitting the gym regularly for at least 12 weeks. Hopefully there will be a noticeable difference from my original photo shoot.

I slept with a pillow between my knees last night per my daughter's suggestion. I had to call her to thank her for the idea. The pain in my right knee was considerably better today and I got the best night's sleep I've had in over a month. It's weird, because I was sure I'd kick the pillow out during the night, but it stayed positioned between my knees cushioning the knee area all night long regardless of changing positions.

jay,,,combo of things,TRAINING intense as usual but a little more emphasis on squeezing, some drop sets, more hot weather I get more vasculararity naturally,chest/arms..i use some arginine too which increases blood flow as well,,,i am running on all cylinders again.pain free, but stretching more and focusing on muscle instead heavy weight all the time...
