No parent should ever lose a child. I have 2 sons, and I can't even imagine.

I agree. Losing a child would be the hardest thing to endure. As parents, we don't expect to outlive our children.

Thanks for catching my error. I used to be better about proof reading my posts here. Seems I have become a bit lazy. I fixed the post in question.

As for getting back to training; yes I do plan on doing this. I will start out slowly and hope to begin hitting the gym next week at least three times. I'd go this week but we have company here through Sunday. I know, there is always something. I'm no Steve, soldiering on regardless of what else is going on in my life.

delts @gym 2 home training days is enough..

warmed side raises hard 20/25's 12/12 then 2 sets 30/25/20 10 reps each drops was cooking after this
front press 135 x12/155x10/165x8,,,drop finish 165/145/135 all till failure
cable bent over laterals x3
cable uprights x3
wes movement...behind back cable side raise x2 finish sets 12

shrugs on lying chest machine 'hammer'2 plates x20/3x14/4x15/5x12..then 4/3/2 drop 10 reps per traps were done..

forarms weighted rope rolls up/down/upx3
reverse wrist curls cable x4

calves 5 sets 12-15 calf raises 180/200/220/240/240

I like to use them just as a type of finishing exercise Donny.

I have gone quite heavy on them in the past, but they killed my shoulders.

Delts/Traps....shoulder killing me. Not the one I had surgery on the other fucking one now.

3ius Humatrope/40mg T-Bol

One arm cable laterals in front 2 sets
One arm cable laterals from back 2 sets
Rear  crossovers 2 sets
DB laterals 20/25/30/35/40 45/35/25/15( drop set)
Rear cable crossovers 2 sets
DB upright rows ss DB front raises 3 sets
Pulls to the face 3 sets

Tried to Shrug...hurt to much. No pressing today either. Got to know when to fold them. Ken

I must admit at the Moment i´m just Training really simple with Basics but i like it. before summer i´ll hit my favourite split of Chest+back....Shoulders+arms....legs...... great to have guys on here like you with lots of experience.

Last night was a really good traps and back workout.

Traps

Barbell Shrugs 3 sets

Behind the Back Smith Machine Shrugs 3 Sets

Back

Medium Width Pulldowns 3 Sets

Dumbell Rows 3 Sets

Magnum Biangular Pulldowns 3 Sets. I really like this movement,
as it starts narrow grip, and works wider while going through the
range of movement. It is similar to performing a double bicep pose, but weighted.

As usual, I pyramided the sets, increasing in weight, and decreasing reps. I really focused on slightly arching my back, and squeezing at the bottom of each rep. This is the most effective way I have found to hit the lower lats as well.

Sounds like a solid plan. Give it 6-7 weeks and see how it works out for you. Normally, I would suggest putting one of your off days between Legs and Back days, since they are the biggest muscle groups? But, your regimen suggests you are prioritizing arms.

Yes...I am strictly about vanity at this point....I want to cruise around the pool at the over 55 retirement community.  ;D

Yeah, I get it. My wife says it is okay for me to look at other women as long as I don't touch them. This is a good thing, since I wouldn't know how to avoid looking.
