Around 12-25 sets or so. Heavy usually. 4-5 different exercises, each 4 sets. Sometimes I start out with the heaviest weights for the first and second sets, then go to about 12-15 reps for the second and the last may be a drop set or high repetitions like 25-30.
Its never set of course, I just go in and get it done. I have never been injured in my life and have never taken any time off from the gym.

But if you're claiming that nutrition is irrelevant overral, then I disagree. Besides genetics and exposition to stress, nutrition is the most important facor in determining how long/well you live.

Well, if all you want is mass for the sake of mass and don't care about looking like Squadfather, then he's right. The single most important thing for adding mass is not even protein intake, but having a caloric superavit. You cannot build more tissue than you have - which is calorically expensive to build - if you are furnishing your body less or only as many calories as is required to maintain your current body mass. This boil down to physics: you can't add more mass to something by subtracting from it more than you add.(duh)

you have lifted in the 700's for deadlifts also have you not ? that is impressive, both for the weight and also the lack of injuries.
the volume is crazy to me though, it would kill me to do even half of that workout assuming you are lifting semi heavy.

There is more in "bodybuilding nutrition" than just losing weight. Try losing fat while holding on to muscle and even more: building muscle, a calorie is a calorie won't work well.

Do people really give you sh!t about your results because they weren't achieved with clean foods? That's funny, especially considering that people don't realize that "clean" is a subjective term. One thing to remember is that most people simply do not have a fundamental understanding of human physiology. Did you eat at a caloric deficit? Yes. Did your protein intake and training regimen support LBM retention or at least minimize LBM loss? Yes...... I honestly don't see what's so fcking difficult for naysayers to understand about that.
At my absolute leanest, I ate a pint of hagen daaz every single night right before bed. I also did not have a car at the time, so I biked to school & work. I was running a caloric defricit, so I got lean. The people who give you sh!t are the same brotards who will spend $$$$ on completely useless supps, so we can laugh at them together.

Question about Cardio:
is it necessary for fat loss or can the same results (no significant difference) be achieved without it, given that the essential rules for fat loss are kept (protein, calories, strength training)?
Aside from the calories it burns, it offers nothing in terms of fat loss effects that bodybuilding-type weight training doesn't already cause. Therefore, cardio is a tool to be used only as necessary for the individual's athletic goals & personal preference. It's not this mandatory thing that everyone needs to do in order to lose fat. It's an option that's available to you if you're not where you're at in terms of leanness and you are a) maxed out in terms of productive resistance training volume or b) maxed out in terms of caloric intake reduction. Both of those variables will differ across individuals. If you had followed a good diet, you would have stayed with 75kg at the same bf.
You can get very ripped by starving yourself to nearly death and only eating junk food and drinking protein shakes, but that is like driving 80mph in a Fiat.
When you want to be big AND ripped, you need a clean, healthy diet, much more protein than you think and cardio. Sure you don't need cardio to lose weight, but let me tell you, when you diet, UPPING your calories by 1000 and burning more calories by doing more Cardio as well so that you are still in a deficit will give you FAR better results than starving yourself like you do.
Why is that? Because the body gets everything it needs, enough protein, enough vitamins, enough Omega3-fatty acids, enough fiber and so on. But let me tell you one more thing: This is the hard way. You need to eat, time your meals, eat clean, and do more cardio (preferably HIIT) than before.
Yours is the pussy way, no cardio, one junk food meal and only shakes, and the result is that you look like a 9 year old girl when you wear a T-shirt.

A "clean" diet is simply a healthy diet. Not too much saturated fatty acids, no transfats like in your chinese garbage, enough fibers, complex carbs, protein with full amino acids profiles. I don't want to die, i want to be healthy.

If you're on a restricted calorie diet it makes a lot of sense to go for lower calorie dense foods like chicken and potatoes, so one can get much more nutrition (carbs and protein) from the controlled calories. I definitively agree with eating high calorie dense foods like pizza or anything when growth is the main goal (easier to get in high amounts of calories), but on a diet its different.
And its not because chicken breast and rice are magic foods that get you lean and its not because burgers and fries make you fat, its just beacause as Donkey said: you'll get more nutrients out of the controlled calories.

I agree, it's a convenience factor. For many people, less dense foods will make their diet easier to maintain. However, for other people a more moderate approach or even a diet with predominantly dense food is more convenient. The point is that for body composition it doesn't matter and therefore can be used as a tool of convenience.
As far as nutrients go, you just have to get the minimal required values for survival and optimal body composition. IMO, you can easily get that just as well from dense foods (maybe supplemented by a protein shake and some fruits and veggies).

I am glad that he decided to wake up and actually pay attention to Evidence and Science. This is true adam, i was highly critical of you in the past. For instance when you first announced your principles you never differentiated between proteins carbs and fats. I was also desperate for a intellectual debate for once :D Once the issue regarding macros was clarified, and you explained there was indeed a difference i began to look at you in a different light.
your insight and thoughts on many topics here, not all of which were bodybuilding related also impressed me greatly, as i regard intellect as a trait to be admired.

Haha. Yes, that was the one. This song didn't even come out until 1963. It was composed by a German, Bert Kaempfert, so maybe somebody just slipped a German version in a movie. Shit, maybe I'm remembering wrong.
The lady who sings it in all German is named Laila Kinnunen. That's the best version, although I don't understand it.
