No, I'm not competing but consider the summer sesason to be "on-season" for me. That's the kind of conditioning I'm trying to obtain for it.

That's exactly how small I was back in the Corps before I started training... I am still as lean but have far more muscle. Not bad shape at all man - just not what I would consider bodybuilding...

No disrespect intended either man... I know hoe hard it is to stay lean.. I have for a couple decades and I don't hold as much muscle as I once did... Its all in what your goals are..

Agreed - I would never want to look like a bloated pig for 10 months of the year just to look great for 2 months.

My weight still fluctuates a bit but even in my "off" shape I still have clearly visible abs. I just lose some muscle and especially
fullness and gain a little bit of fat but that's it.

However did you not just reach this condition very recently? You sound as if you've been "walking the walk" for the last decade or so  ;)

I give you props for getting back into shape again but it's yet another thing to maintain this condition for pretty much the rest of your life or at
least a very long time. I wish you good luck on this however. What are your plans for the future in terms of bodybuilding? Do you want to stay at this size or go up?

Why not post a full body pic, it's really hard to tell what you're hiding underneath and your legs used to be a strong point anyway so I guess they are nothing to be ashamed of.

I don't think it's necessary to gain more than 20-25lbs from your contest weight to offseason weight although men's physique pros like Jeremy Buendia is like 165 during his contest and 200-205 during offseason. I think it's just an excuse a majority of people use to get fat as fuck then they eventually get too lazy to get lean again and stay fat and looking like shit.

Nice abs but honestly most 5th graders are bigger than both of you. I have a hard time considering this bodybuilding. You may consider bikini as you're more suited for it.

Yeah I made the mistake of going from like 180 8% body fat to like 220 14% body fat because I thought since I was on tren I wouldn't get fat and when I did get fat I thought I would shred back down to 8% in like 10 weeks. Big mistake lol it took me like 16-20 weeks to do a cut back down to where I was and I only gained like 5-7lbs of muscle. I don't think I will ever go above 10-12% body fat again its seriously not worth having to diet down for a long period of time just so you can be a fat ass for 2-3 months.

What kind of diet are you running now?

I'm leaner than that now I just carb cycle year round and when spring (Around March or end of Febuary) comes I'll start doing cardio. I'm 187 now and 6ft I cycle carbs in the winter like 250c/200p/70f on low days and 350c/200p/50f on high carb days I'll do about 4 days of low and 3 high days during the winter. Spring-Fall I'll keep my carbs at 150c/250p/60f for low carb days and 220-250c/250p/45f and I'll do cardio always on a treadmill at the highest incline at a power walking rate and keep upping the time every few weeks and you can't forget the t3 haha

To each their own. But to put on real size. Not the 160lb guys in the pic. I think you got to out on fat and water no way around it. I blow up in offseason. So unless I want to eat like contest year round I'll never be lean. A pizza and burger in a week and I'll hold 10lbs of water. Is what it is.

So Im trying the heavy loading after this show. Im almost 230 right now. Lifting very heavy. Once my abs get washed out. I'll diet for 3 to 4 weeks and start the process over again.  Helps with sensitivities and your body is always like a sponge after dieting so I'm going to see how this works for me.. Plan is lean 240 by next year is it possible? Depends on how much money you got I suppose

There is a old saying that hold true with drag racing.. How fast do you want to go? How much money you got?

Same shit goes to bodybuilding how big you want to be? How much money you got?

Food is any where for 150 to 200 a week.  Aas are about 300-500 a month. 100 for ai   Generic gh is 1000 for 4 to 5 months. Slin is 50 to 60 bucks a month

And I'm on baby levels.  For the big dogs take  all that and triple it

God forbid you want pharm grade gh.. That's 1000 to 2000 a month depending on dosages

I have yet to do gh nor will I ever be able to swing the cost of pharma shit...

As for slin, the best way to describe it (without gh) is.... The first little doses have big effects then you will assume taking more will have X times more effect. Not really I find. It really is not all that magical, but is a nice addition and if you gonna eat them cals, may as well have them work for you as smart as possible and that is where slin helps.

Just hate that hype feeling, sweating out your clothes when you experience crashes...

But don't wait until you gain too much fat to use!!!

Ya that's the problem im the type that I feel is going to get fat or atlesst hold shit done of water on slin. I don't take much just 6ui for my pre work out meal and 8ui post.  Just a little extra help to slam the cals pre and post workout

I like to go up to 15 pre (humalog) then my intra, post workout, then with the second post workout meal, l0-15 units of humalin R. that will work over my next 2-3 meals. I tend to skip slin on days I don't train.

Anything more than 30ish units has me feeling odd and need mega food to cover it.

Oh damn 30iu!?? I need to step my game up lol

30 total, in a day.

But have done 30 units humalog pre workout. Dosen't really work better than 15-20 and you can only take in so much sugar or you get stomach issues...

But yeah, up tha dose, that is child's play.

Seems you have got caught up in the madness and stupidity that is competitive bodybuilding.
Your size is limited by your genetics not the amount of gear you take.

Good luck holding onto your internal organs.

So how about something between this faggy lean look and pro bb'ers? Seriously man, a lot of guys using gear now for what can be done natural.

I don't care about gear use, since it's a personal choice, so I just look at the result.

Don't know why he'd have to go for some "between" look.  Most people out grow this who "big" thing eventually, as they realize there's no practicality to it, and they're better off health-wise not artificially forcing their bodies to carry more bulk than they're supposed to.

Like I said, to each his own, but after reading that you're using insulin and not competing, I just can't identify going through all that just for cosmetic purposes.

Yes RO, if u look up medimel Poland gyno surgery you'll see a load of threads from various sites with bodybuilders getting it done there. Some one I know from the gym had it done and his scars are pretty much perfect, you'd never even know.

She's a surgeon who trained in the uk in Bristol, researched it for ages. She does ultrasound first to see where the gland fully stretches out too then removed the gland (100% or as close to as possible she said) the lips suction any fat to contour it better and leave no deformitys.

When the weathers cold it don't bother me but as soon as I'm warm, droopy tits come to mind. So thought fuck it get em out.

LOL. This sounds similar to the gyno I had. When it was cold, the whole chest region got hard and it looked fine - you couldn't even tell I had gyno. However, it looked like shit in warmer weather as it just drooped down. :D
The surgery cost me £2,500 in the UK. You get quality aftercare treatment thrown in which is a bonus and it's easy to arrange further appointments if necessary.

Mine went well. It was over a year ago and the scars aren't noticeable unless your looking closely.
I'm natural so the gyno wasn't caused by hormones, it was just something I had since a teen and it always bothered me. I eventually just thought "fuck it" and went to get it removed. :D

Wanna get back on but in a strange way don't..not sure whether I'll jump back on or trainin....gulp...natty for a while

does going through the miserable times make you think twice about what it does to the system? I know if I came off for 6 months I probably would not go back on again.

100%. I don't miss the jabbing, popping pills to counteract other sides, the shitty skin etc I only miss the results in the gym but it's all borrowed to a point.

Not sure whether I'll go back on. I sold every bit of spare gear I had to resist any temptation. Do u ever consider coming off? For good tho. To me it means leaving trading behind tho I think, will probably get back into football, squash and swimming cos natty training is pointless after knowing what's peds do (for me personally anyway)

no acne, got killed after getting waxed but now is healed

Not even half of that

You are trying too hard  >:( ;)

Im trying to hard?
Im not the one posting pics claiming off season condition then backtracking when called out and turning it into a transformation thread.

Be interesting to see what weight class you are in, according to you light heavy maybe even heavyweight

So still over a gram of gear for 180lbs at 5,11

Not really, if you're really big, no bs reason such as angles or lighting can hide it. But man do guys love to use that line!

So if that's the same pic as the others, you just fooled me into thinking you're big.

Good for online, not real life. For some, that is good enough though....

As that lady said in a 1980's wendy's commercial..."Where's the beef"
Anybody can get to that level.

When you reach a level that ANYBODY can reach, you don't post pics. It's nothing special as every mother fucker can do this. You're just another twink posting your stupid ass selfies nobody gives a freakin' fuck about.

You post when you have something I'd say 80% of people can't achieve. Then you have some "notoriety" to me. T'ill then, fuck off with this pussy boy shit...

Since you used gear to still look like a beginner, you will therefore need Bostin Loyd style doses to ever fill out that little boy shirt you wear.

I'm always a bit surprised and jealous on how quickly Sev can transform himself. Not everyone wants to be a massive bodybuilder. It's not easy to put on muscle mass beyond normal levels and it's not healthy. Add to that is the fact that most people don't find it attractive. Sev's physique has a much more popular appeal and I think he would do well in a the physique class. And he looks like a functional athlete that can actually move around and do something. The way top bodybuilders look now and the way they waddle around huffing and puffing is getting comical.

Regardless of Sev, IMO you should compete in physique category.
Adding more size will just make you look more disproportionate as the size difference between your upper and lower body will be even more evident.
You would always place better in physique category.

I don't get this post. You should only post a pic if you have a physique that 80% can't achieve? What does that mean and how do you determine that?

And Sev may have a physique that is attainable to anybody but the fact is that the vast majority aren't willing to do what it takes to get in to that kind of condition. I mean, look around you next time you go to the beach, mall,work... hell, even the gym. I always think it's kind of sad how I see the same old guys in the locker room that have been training for years and years and still don't look like they've ever picked up a weight in their life. Sev is presenting stage ready abs. You can clearly see each individual cube. He has Phil Heath's 2014 version beat in the ab department.

Many things in life are achievable to the average Joe. But it's not easy. If it was easy  then everyone would be walking around with abs like Sev. But in reality very, very, very few do.

Have you posted a pic?

You are in great shape and I do believe you when you say that your legs are your strongest bodypart because they used to be ahead
of your upperbody in the past so why would it be any different now?

However I wonder what your plan looks like since you've said you are going to compete in September.
Will you try to keep this level of conditioning the whole time (which I assume since you've implied this in the first post) while adding some more muscle?
Or are you willing going to sacrifice at least a little bit of conditioning in order to gain more lean muscle? I think I remember that you eat very clean at times,
do you not get bored especially if you're doing this for like almost a year? What was your last competition?

I still have a hard time believing that the guy next to you is actually over 200lbs but it could be if he's not as lean as one might think he is.

I think there are actually quite a few similarities between our bodies... we both have weak arms, strong legs.. born to be rather small and lean than huge.

is the skinny, bald guy posting pics a romanian?  This is insane, I swear to god that's the guy i met on holiday there last year that was trying to sell me some lucky heather. I said "it can't be that lucky because you have tons of it". He had a girl with him that was in pretty good shape to be fair, but she kept coming up to me and grabbing my balls with one hand whilst slipping the other hand into my pocket to fish for a wallet. If it isn't him then he has a twin in romania.

A bodybuilder should look like one off season as well. We walk the walk daily

This is a shape that someone such as rich could only dream about.

This whole thing meaning bodybuilding? Well that's funny because I somehow managed
to get in better shape than you've ever been despite having terrible talent for bbing and using
a lot less chemicals...and I actually "walk the walk daily" and never get out of shape except for a couple of times
after accidents/sickness.

You sound like the kid who has no clue but is trying to fool other kids .... "I know something youuuu don't but I'm not going to tell youuuhuu nananananana"
post a picture that is "much better" than my currently modest shape and I will take you seriously. I rmember making fun of you6 years ago  ;D

I honestly have no problem with you at all... in fact I think you're one of the more interesting and good members on here and I give you props
for getting back into great shape so no hate from my side at all. After watching some of your videos I'm also sure that you are far more athletic than
I will ever be and I'm actually a bit jealous about how easy it apparently was for you to hit 400lbs on the benchpress while I'm struggling for more than a decade
to get close to 400lbs  ;D

I just thought that your response to my questions was pretty lame since they were honest questions out of curiosity and not intended to offend you. You act
as if you knew some secrets to getting in shape and building muscle and that usually makes me wary.

Here are some pics of what I look like pretty much all the time, sometimes a bit leaner sometimes less but always somewhere close to this except for when I'm off gear but
I still look decent even then.

Any back pics? Would be interesting to see.

I know that I was never meant to be a good bodybuilder but I've realized this early enough and not trying to force something that should simply not be but instead
try to do the best with what I have and I guess that has worked out quite well and I'm pretty happy now with my body although when I see some people with blessed genes
I do get a bit jealous every now and then but I know that I have other qualities and being a great bodybuilder is not really that important overall.

Very nice quad separation for your standard look.

Thanks although I have to admit that both of those quad pics were taken after a few weeks of rather strict dieting but my quads
always show pretty good separation. Posted a few more with less separation, the first one being an example of pretty much the least separation
I'll have (and also very old pic with less muscle everywhere) but as of now I'm not really trying to gain any more weight or at least I'm not trying to force
it by bulking up too much because by now it seems that it's not really a matter of food but rather mgs...

Sev managing to prove bodybuilding is and isnt all drugs at exactly the same time.

Is, in the fact that his transformations are based on huge dosages
Isn't in the fact that his huge dosages don't seem to garnish the expected results.

That said he is in good shape albeit small and slim.
If he is planning entering in September and dropping more weight then I think hes looking at 165lbs onstage.

Yeah I think a lot of people misunderstand the "bbing is all drugs" thing.

You need massive amounts of drugs to look like a pro and without the drugs they would nowhere be near this level but they are still all great responders to training and drugs.
Most people could take twice as much as the top pros and still not look like a national competitor.

They have always been decent even when I was a little child. It runs in the family, my father probably still has 20 inch calves and not a lot of fat on them unlike his belly ;)

Your Dad had a six pack at age 60? And never trained? If so, he was a genetic miracle. Did he play any sports?

I read where only 7 percent of the male population over 21 yrs has "visible" abs, meaning if you can just see them you're in. Not
like Sev where it's clearly and deeply defined. And, needless to say, that percentage drops off exponentially as you get over thirty and beyond.  That would put your Dad in the top 1-2 percent.

Any pics of him?

Im talking about Sevs fat pic.
My dad wasnt defined but had a stocky build with huge calves (rode a cycle all his life)
Sev got as fat as he did in a round 3 months, he posted pics last year of himself in reasonable shape when Radu was competing, so bearing in mind its taken him 3 months to get back in shape he must have gone through some serious food abuse.

79 kgs, at 1,80m... I am not happy with my bodyfat, but I manage to achieve this off season:

Squat: 120 kgs for 6 reps
Bench: 115 kgs for 6 reps
Deadlift: 140 kgs for 6 reps

I hope, some day, to achieve the Go4it quality on my body (no homo).

Looking pretty good... but 120kg squat/140kg DL in relation to 115kg benchpress? Well to each his own, if you don't want to train your lower-body
with the same intensity then who am I to tell you to do otherwise.

I have very good legs. But yes I am not powerfull, and I don't believe at the "powerbuilding" crap. I want to be strong, as I need.

I dont't want to risk joint or muscle problems in order to be more strong. That's why I like very much the Dorian Yates Heavy Duty system.

two torn biceps and a triceps which ended his career?

I focus at his training philosophy (negative reps, hold & squeeze, avoiding full range deadlifting and squatting) and not at the "go as heavy as never before" principle.

My main concern about health issues on training, is for my back, knees, delts and my elbows.

your gonna have veins on your abbs bro.  I wish I could.  Are you taking anything or just diet and exercise?

Yes!!! This year: Anabeta Elite, Nolvadren XT and Alphamine (the U.S. version with yiohimbine). I can only afford those supps, because here in Greece they are very expensive.

good look...i've seen your leaner look than this too..you hold it pretty good, just don't over do it like others said here,,maybe 5/10 lbs ,water anyway in beginning...

I manage to lose 10 lbs, no more. I am thinking to keep some muscle on... or I hope so :)

This is a lean offseason.  Why the fuck would you basicly contest diet in offseason? For what

Look Mike, last summer, I was 71 kgs really lean, hard etc... but in "offseason" I was not eating the same. More calories, much more foods, fruits, milk and yogurt, peanut butter and more. And every Sunday I had a free meal.

The "secret" was 30 minutes cardio, 3 or 4 times a week, after training. My goal was exactly what I wanted: to take "quality" mass, with as little fat as possible!!!

How would you feel if your wife blew up 40-50lbs after a show?

Thats exactly how she feels about you, think about that next time you are heaving your fat sweaty ass on top of her.

I'm on my Shawn risen full blow offseason. Truth be told I'd like to be be lean but.. I'm just doing what I'm told. 500g of carbs and inslin makes me hold so much fucking water
Is that why you take dnp?

If you want a moderate stack that you should take year round I like
1200 sus
500 deca
600 eq
50 Abombs for strength

You have to watch the eq as it with raise you blood cell count and for some that's how blood pressure shoots up.  It would be the only one I "cycle"

If you feel like getting a little crazy throw on 400mg tren e.  Shit works wonders

Heaven knows where hes at now hes got serious

Guys, Mike is a decent person and a poster that I like. I just don't want my off season to look like a bloated shit with 30%+ bodyfat. But that's me... Mike prefers insulin, dnp as booty says, or something else... some else prefers something else. I am a fan of clean eating all year round.

I remember when I came here, 100 kgs 35%+ bodyfat and I read the "Lack of willpower sickening me". That was my greatest motivation!!!

Thanks brother. I'm dieted here in a few weeks. More like just cutting carbs and upping cardio. My slin is very very small just 14 IU a day to be exact so it not like im slaming slin.. My main problem now isn't fat it's that I hold so much fucking water.  There are guys that are ultra dry year round im the exact opposite.

Taking slin and throwing in carbs will make you hold water with all the rest of the shit you are taking.

Seriously mate, chill the fuck out, get off all that shit and normalise your body before you have a heart attack.

Sev you look great man keep it up. You can defo afford to grow into the show if this is your offseason look. Definitely need some size but that can be achieved we've all seen you much bigger than this in the Groink V sev thread from a couple years ago. I'd love to see you keep this up and not do your usual off and on again thing.

Navy mike get your ego under control. His offseason is equal to or maybe even better than your contest shape. you have more size than him yes, but he's gone from skinny fat to this in like 6 months or less..

I am old and I consider myself as being bisexual. I don't talk about cum, here or anywhere else. Whether or not I am an old creep is subjective. If it comforts you to think of me as that, have at it. What you think means nothing to me.

It is because you are supposedly known for having exceptional wheels that I commented on the more recent photo where you are wearing gray sweats. Take a good objective look at that photo and tell me your legs don't look skinny. Perhaps they aren't, but you'd never know it from the photo you posted of yourself.  Could it be that you are overly sensitive about your appearance?

Seems odd that someone who has posted here as long as you have, can't take a little harmless kidding.

No hating here:  you look good, Sev.  Pecs seem thicker than before.  The arms seem a bit thinner but that could be the angle; for some stupid reason, my arms always look semi-thin from the front, and it's only when viewed from the side or in a double-biceps that their thickness is evident.  Part of that is due to my stupid wide clavicles and ribcage, but I reckon most of it's from not upping the dose enough and gettin' them guns up to 20" or beyond :D~  (Psh, that's a dream.  I BET I could do that if I was willing to go hog-wild with high test doses and lots of Dianabol, not to mention putting on even more bodyfat.  But now that I'm 37 and I've had two surgeries -- fortunately not related to anything BBing -- I'm starting to lose interest in doing picture-perfect inclines with 315 for reps and having a giant-ass pair of pecs than I am with, y'know, LIVING a long, nice life.  If that means shrinking down to 165 and shredded, so be it.)

it's obvious sev has more thickness in his abs, chest, delts, arms and traps than he has in his overall back and especially legs.

Do you have injuries that forbid you from training legs? Because come on, it's obvious your legs aren't there like your upper torso is.

that explains it... but good work for doing whatever you can to train legs.

My right knee is making this horrible noise as what you would hear when you step on a small pile of dry wooden sticks when I extend it. It doesn't hurt but it's already been over a week since it happened and I'm afraid something's wrong with my ligaments and I will def not squat or deadlift, it hurts my head really.

oh why did she have to hit me with her car in 2011... old injuries are now starting to take effect :(

That aside, the delts look good and the pecs are much improved.

Sev, apart from pharmaceutical differences -- if any -- what did you do to bring your pecs up?

I lost my left calf after an ACL knee reconstruction, I had the hamstring calf tendon taken out for the graft, but a nerve must have got hit along the way, its now a full inch smaller than the other leg. Had similar issues from neck discs effecting my right arm pec lat. Nerve injuries suck, theres usually no full recovery.

I get what you are saying about nerve problems. My spine has compressed so much and there is enough arthritis in it that it has affected my sciatic nerve to the point where I can't walk any distance without my right foot getting completely numb. Couple this with a somewhat failed (my fault) meniscus surgery on the right knee makes me feel like a total cripple sometimes. I had a steroid injection in my spine a few days ago. My fingers are crossed that it will alleviate some of these problems.

I know I have written this many times before, but getting old is a huge bitch!

I want to apologise for my early post where I chided you for having skinny legs, or so it appeared in those sweats. Looking at some of your "before" photos, you've made huge improvements and you are right to be proud of this.

I hope you know that I have no lust for you (don't take it personally), and I also hope that your comments to me were simply a reaction to the fact that what I posted got your ire.

Best of recovery to you, you have at least got to an age most won't and are still going all be it with a few problems, I'm mid 40s with my issues, it worries me how I will be if i get to your age, wasn't a heavy juicer, but a heavy lifter. wouldn't change a thing but the shit took its toll thats for sure, no pain no gain, didn't realise the pain came 20 years later  :)

Fortunately, I knew my body's limits. Heavy lifting was never an option for me. You have to be naturally strong and built for power lifting. I'm not. For one thing, my arms are too long. It makes heavy bench presses all but impossible, unless a full range of motion is sacrificed.

Kind of like those power lifting meets back in the day. When the power lifters were done then they would haul out the muscle men.

I think that's how Franco met Arnold.
