best this year is 22.15.

I haven't had a proper crack at it for a while, but I think I would go close to 21 at the mo

That's really good.   Every time I start mixing them in, I'm bad - like a 7:55 mile average.  Then it takes a few weeks of just running them and the average will drop a decent amount.  Then I get bored of it and stop.

Trying to keep moving more these days.   Maybe two days of weights tops, with more conditioning.

Try building up the gas tank and doing the big miles and your 5k will keep on improving!

The day I quit competitive sports is the day I stopped running.  Just running is the most mind-numbing shit exercise there is.   Of course with your legs you qualify for the paralympics.

Will try that.  Maybe I'll do 6 on Fri.  Last time, I skipped the 5k for three weeks, did HIT, then went back and my time dropped immensely.
