This is not a critique, but a discussion - do you think your legs would look any different if you just skipped the last three leg exercises?  I'm of the belief that they wouldn't.

Yes you might be right about that. Those exercises works by a specific way, and i don't have that huge amount of muscles that needs to "sculpt" (i don't know if this is the right word) this way.

I know that they are useful during my cutting period but not so helpful now.

I may do a change and do only squats, front squats, leg press and SLDL.

Yeah, I'm not a big believer in the the concept of scupting anyway - I think it's all genetic.   I just believe if you hit the muscle hard with compounds like you listed, you'll get almost the exact same result, with less exercises.

Maybe the addtional sets are the stimulation you need for growth, but I just doubt it.   You look much better than me anyway, so what do I know?

The guy at my gym with the most insane quads does 2 sets of squats... thats it.
Warms up on the treadmill, does some stretching, a few light squat sets and boom 2 massive sets.
He's in and out in 30 mins.

I need to change it up.  I've been doing the same stale workout for the past 10-12 years.  It makes lifting boring.

lifted with a guy from work today...after seeing todays workout list he asked "so, your a rich froning fan?" i had no idea who that was...turns out he is the crossfit world champion, and after looking at some of his youtube videos it appears our workouts are damn near identical.....turns out the heavy circuit training ive been doing my whole life for damn near free is worth $352 a month now at some jackass gym lol

so i am now awaiting credit for his success

so what do I know?

It doesn't matter. We can have a conversation!!!

Next time i will try a high rep system with less exercises and i will report back.

NZMM we have that chick at my gym, Greek champion at cycling. Very nice body, like those that bradistani posts. Perfect muscular legs and butt. She is a little bit crazy, difficult to hit it.

So... she doe's only 5 sets of 5 at squats and SLDL. She is not doing cycling anymore, just as transport.

My theory is gaining speed.

I hereby prohibit anyone here  from doing leg extensions, leg curls, and reverse peck deck back thingies.

Yeah now he does but have you ever asked him about his leg workouts when he was younger/first started.
