We are talking bodybuilding.

What is the difference between doing, say, three sets each of barbell, db, and preacher curls, as opposed to just doing 9 sets of db curls?

I always do something for rear delts.
Usually, it's as simple as reverse pec-deck, but I occasionally use face pulls.

Also, I love doing behind the back upright rows on the angled Smith machine, which I feel works that area a bit, along with the lateral heads.

I'm thinking of experimenting with some kind of wide-grip row for a while to see how I like that.
